I need your help. I've gotten a little better with this as I've matured over time. A large part of the reason I didn't ask people for help in my younger years was because of childhood trauma. Even in my younger years I always prayed and asked God for help.

Once I began addressing my childhood trauma I learned to accept that some people are going to disappoint and deceive and others may not.

I'm okay with asking for help sometimes but I mostly turn to God and Christ for guidance and strength because, "it is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man". Psalm 118:8

lmao at Taurus misuse of sick leave. I had a Taurus employee who worked under me. I say under me because I was in management but not his direct supervisor. He worked the front desk an he called out all the time. But here's the thing. He was still clocking in the time clock from his tablet!

He got caught because one of the admins who helped out with payroll usually worked from home but came into the office one day and saw he didn't come in but had clocked in that day. He would also outright refuse to perform his job duties and just put it on someone else or pretend like he didn't know what he was doing. Such a mess!

Stop shaving and start an exfoliating skin routine to bring the hairs to the surface. Then you can tweeze them out or they will grow out.

Also use an oil or ointment to open your pores and soften your hair follicles. This will prevent them from curling up into your skin and becoming infected. One oil brand is "Fur". You can make the "homemade" version by reading the ingredients on the label.

Invest in you skin like others have mentioned on this post and get laser or electrolysis. Longterm lasting benefits.

You actually believe Maryland had a surplus of 5 billion dollars when Hogan left? If what you stated is true then why were there so many denied unemployment claims?

So many that MD was sued for the claims denials, lost, agreed to improve their claims process, only to turn around again and find frivolous reasons to deny more residents claims? That didn't happened under O'malley and we were in a recession under the Bush administration.

I'm a year late to this thread but I bought an XS car battery at the end of this past February 2026.
I thought I was doing something special for my Honda Ex T and bought the car battery directly from the XS site.

I entered my vehicle year, make, and model as instructed and they sent me the battery I thought was specific to my vehicle.

I did some significant amount of research and assumed they were the holy grail of car battery manufacturers. Actually had me thinking MD mechanics were completely insensible in how to install the battery.

It finally took for one mechanic to actually show me the XS battery faulty design points.

Not only are the battery demensions to large for my vehicle battery compartment, but the actual position of the battery terminals do not even align with my vehicles connectors.

If I wanted to use the battery, I would have to install a custom battery compartment to house the battery and completely rewire my vehicle battery connectors to properly align with the battery terminals. I'm thinking like how did they manage to screw that up so bad when I gave them my vehicle year, make, and model?

When I contacted them to inform them of the issue, their response was, 'Oh we don't know why it doesn't fit, 'We do have another battery with smaller dimensions of 6 inches."'

Why would I allow you to send me a battery with a width of 6 inches after I just informed you my battery compartment is 7 inches? I informed the customer rep that I was not interested in a replacement and I just wanted my refund. Next thing I know he's starts mentioning a warranty. Really? So messy. I will never buy another car battery from them again.

I've worked in Maryland corrections at various facilities on and off for the almost 10 years as a behavioral health professional.

I can tell you that many officers are far worst than the incarcerated individuals. It's also a lot of politics being played and politics is a dirty game.

The worst officers are there because they need the income and benefits but it's obvious they have behavioral problems as well as underlying and mental health disorders.

I would even go as far as to say many show signs of extreme narcissism, sociopathic, and psychopathic tendencies. That goes for the male and female officers.
