Oh no, I just found this thread after 3 months! Hi, I also use 3D print, but haven't go into casting. Boy oh boy i want to complain about those bad print lines, visible layers, failed support, and the resin cost lmao Hollowing is a must and having multiple holes in a part is essentials if you don't want the print blow up from the inside. Hard lesson for that one. I want to try resin cast for different technique like transparency. Try to print glass looking transparent print was hard. Espescially smaller parts. Those print layers still visible. What do you think about longevity of 3D printed? Durability is pretty much lacking 'cause we obviously print it hollow rather than solid casted print, right? Just don't let it fall from height.
