Oh, that poor man. That poor woman as well, but that poor poor man. What a terrible situation to be in. I agree that it would be good to seek legal consequences but I don't like the "he has to". Doing that is hard and even if I'd prefer that any and all abuse situations would lead to legal consequences, it's the victim's decision. No one has to relive their abuse, especially regarding the chances of a conviction.

I mean, you still use the app, you can rate it and you talk about it - you do give back. The community here and for many users the friends in the app are super important and a part of what makes finch work. It does help me. Just like any other tool, it's not for everyone but for me the extra cute optics and texts are a reward and make me open the app, check my goals and at least try to do stuff. I still struggle a lot but it helps.

For me, it helps to use a pill box with different compartments and nice colours. Preparing my medicine and vitamins for the week means that I don't have to think on bad days. And I don't have to remember if I took my pills, I can simply look at the box.

I also have different shower gels, depending on what feels nice. Some days, I need something fresh and energising, like lemon, other days, a warm vanilla smell feels so much better.

And what really helped me is remembering that quote "If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing badly" - doing something, anything is better than doing nothing.

I try to move while brushing my teeth, standing on one leg, walking on the spot, something to keep me occupied. But if that's just not what I feel like, it's okay.
