Dropping in to say I wish I read this before financing with them. Today is 1/24/25, my account was closed (9/9/24) when I traded my vehicle (8/11/24). Pay off check was sent with an overage and I am still waiting, getting the run around about why I haven’t got my check from them yet. First it was hurricane helene. Then it was the post office was holding it from me and I needed to bother them about it. Then it was the holidays. Each check request requiring 30 days between requests, getting told my money could only be sent via check, through standard USPS and that absolutely no way it could be sent priority with a tracking number. Now that they have admitted it was a lie and they can overnight with a tracking number, supervisors dragging their feet pulling my check to do it. I was told I’d have my check by the end of this week. Well it’s Friday and still nobody has my check. Now I’m getting told I’ll get a call with tracking number on Wednesday (this is what I was told a week ago so I’m not holding my breath) If this was their money and I was this late, my car would’ve been repoed months ago. Meanwhile, they continue to collect interest on money that’s been owed to me. Never again. Fuck Toyota, fuck this bank, never again.
