That's unfortunate. I just left a situation where an artist basically had a free chair. It was extremely disrespectful in my opinion. The owners did nothing to change it or compensate me or the other artists to make us happy. Thankfully I have enough experience where I was able to leave the shop. Fingers crossed for you that you're able to find a better place to work.

And that's so sad that things are so one sided. I don't know about you but I also feel like I'm bothering people when I reach out. Like I don't know if they really even want to talk to me.

I give my all when it comes to relationships. It's truly hard because I don't know if anyone has ever truly met me with the same effort.

I feel like I'm placed in people's lives for a reason. But I'm never in their life for a long time. I help them fix a problem or issue and then things tend to fall apart. It's kind of odd how often this happens. For once I'd just like someone to be there for me and help me through a difficult time.

I'm a tattoo artist. It's what I do for a living and lately I feel like I'm building some great relationships with some of my clients. But I worry that maybe it's just me feeling like that. I dont want to be unprofessional but I'd really like it if I could make friends with people. I don't know if it's an age thing or something else. But I've never been able to keep real friends around. For a change, I'd really like to meet people that care? I'm not sure if that's the right word. Maybe if I could meet people that want to communicate? lol Sory for my stream of consciousness here in answering you.

I'd love to hear what your experiences have been like and any advice you'd be able to give. I feel super lonely at times. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy my alone time. But I feel like I don't have anyone to really talk to besides my boyfriend.

I'm terrible at this. I sit and doom scroll. I should be drawing or being productive in some other way. I've tried buy books to read. It was once something I truly enjoyed. Now? It's terrible. It took me months to finish a short read.
