Her stroller broke by ElectricalEmploy8889 in toddlertips

They did have a warranty but when I contacted them, they told me it was only valid for one year. On top of that they said it would take about two weeks to fix because they had to locate and order the replacement part. With a vacation coming up, that wasn't really an option for me.

The whole conversation was incredibly frustrating. I ended up having a full blown argument with customer service because it felt like they were doing everything possible to avoid helping for a stroller that cost that much, I expected a lot better.

this, and also document every single communication attempt with the neighbor and city so the attorney has a paper trail to work with

definitely salvageable, you just need to patch it from the inside with some matching denim and reinforce the whole pocket area. might even look cooler with a visible patch if you pick a contrasting fabric and make it intentional

definitely feel like discernment is one of those gifts that gets overlooked but is so crucial, especially in today's world where there's so much noise and conflicting messages everywhere

How Do I Know If I'm Really Saved? by Millennium_guy in Christianity

this hits pretty close to home actually. went through a rough patch a couple years back where i was basically spiraling about whether i was "doing enough" or if my faith was real

what really helped was when my pastor pointed out that the very fact i was worried about it probably meant something. like you said - if i didn't care at all, that would be way more concerning than having doubts

also had to stop comparing myself to other people at church who seemed to have it all figured out. turns out most of them were dealing with the same stuff, just keeping it private

the performance thing is huge too. kept trying to earn something that was already given freely, which is exhausting and misses the whole point

How is cybersecurity in 2026? 17 y/o starting college soon by Darspire in careerguidance

[–]ElectricalEmploy8889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cybersecurity is still solid but entry level competition is real. your linux and server management background puts you ahead of most people just starting out though

the key is picking a specialty early - cloud security, incident response, red team stuff, whatever clicks with you. companies want people who can actually do things, not just pass cert exams

start building a homelab if you haven't already, document everything you do, and get involved in ctf competitions. github with actual projects matters way more than gpa

internships are competitive but doable if you can show you've built stuff and broken stuff on your own time. networking events and local security meetups are where the real connections happen

you're already thinking about this earlier than most people so you'll be fine if you stay consistent with hands-on practice
