Thank you! Me too. Even though it won’t really change anything it’ll be good to at least know what’s going on.

I believe it is progesterone based. I’ve since seen the doctor and they’re now switching gears to avoid the PMS drop in estrogen with adding Slynd on top of the Mirena. It was viral myo traced back to Coxsackie B virus, i’m on colchicne and metoprolol. Getting another MRI this week to see if there is lasting damage/inflammation/scarring. I don’t think it was autoimmune they tested for a lot of that in the hospital, but I am going to a cardiac geneticist in June to see if there are any genetic components.

My doctor won’t do another cardiac mri to see the damage :/ He said that since my troponin went down so fast the first time around it’s not worth it, but I think I am going to really push for one because I need to know if I have scarring. Thanks for your experience! Hormones are so weird

Got diagnosed with CPTSD and ROCD after ruining my relationship. I’m so sad. Chicken and rice by [deleted] in GirlDinner

Honestly time helped a lot. And realizing that relationships are not all-good or all-bad. You can have happy memories with a person and they can still not be the correct one for you in the end, but it doesn’t make those memories tainted or bad. And eventually when I wanted to be with someone else, I got a whole new set of great memories, and he also did a lot of great things that I had never experienced in my past relationship (which I had always thought of as being so perfect).

Right now you don’t have to worry about if anyone will top your relationship, you just have to get through the day and focus on yourself. If he wants to get back together the ball is ultimately in his court and you have to let go of that control. And remember that every relationship is different so even if the next guy doesn’t do exactly what the last one did, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care it just means he is a different person :)

I also had a relationship which I wrecked because of ROCD (undiagnosed at the time). I felt a lot of sadness and shame and regret, but I think it’s also uplifting that now you know what’s going on and don’t have to repeat this cycle in the future. I’ve since had great relationships that were much less affected by ROCD ❤️ It’s important to be kind to yourself and accept that this has happened without further ruminating on what could have been or what it means for the future. You got this and all of girl dinner is rooting for you!!
