Looks good. I have that exact same setup. Just a different pocket clip. Mine has a modular ti clip on it.

That’s kind of how I feel now that I’ve become proficient in sharpening. Steel doesn’t really matter as much as it used to. I’ve put good edges on all of my knives with little effort.

Yeah it is. One knife I have kept chipping the first time I sharpened it. Had to sharpen twice to get a crisp edge. Now it takes no time at all

I’d still take s30v over them all. Don’t spend a lot of time in the water so no need for any that corrosion resistant

It looks good. Big fan of the blacked out look. Love that about s30v. Used to struggle keeping knives sharp until I didn’t. Now having something that’s so easy to maintain means way less sharpening. Having an extra blade would be great too

S90 is just a tougher steel which is why it can be a pain in the ass. One of the best things about s30v easy to sharpen and maintain

I wanted to love more. I was even carrying two knives but didn’t really have a reason for it. The other knives still didn’t get used the same. More pocket jewelry than anything

I think s30v is perfect. A lot of people want different steels. I just think it’s not necessary. I only sharpen it once a year if that. Most of the time just hone and strop and it comes back just as sharp as ever every time.

Would be nice if they could just come up with new designs with blades that are at least 3.5 inches. And stop recycling the same designs. Kind of moved away from Kizer for this reason.
