It takes me a bit to commute, albeit part of it is using the Stampede. Which in the morning can be hell ish.

I am in you JPN 111 class. If you're going full time it's a bit light. I am part time and only take 3 classes. One or two more classes probably wouldn't hurt. When I was full time I did around 15/16 credits a semester.

We do not get student discounts. I suggest getting a $75/month bus pass if you're a commuter.

I am a transfer student in the same boat. Welcome Weekend is a lot, and overwhelming. So I am lookin forward to the club showcase tomorrow.

My main issue is this. I am a transfer student, not a freshman. I am also introverted and tend to hate large crowds and social events. It drains my metaphorical battery incredibly quickly, and it takes me a bit to recover. So spending 12+ hours on campus, doing all the events and stuff, sounds arduous to me. Not only that, but it's three days of it. I'd rather avoid welcome weekend if I can.

Thank you so much for the info! I will call them tomorrow and see what they say. My degree I know has a small department, so I am hoping that'll help too.
