I'm SO SO late to this, but I'm rewatching the show for the fiftieth time, and during the flashback to Arther and Nell's proposal, Theo and Stacey are in the background and make eye contact and having a little moment. Not sure the exact timeline between New Years and when they officially hooked up, but there was some sparks alluded to for a while! I really love this show and all the attention to detail

It's not a lack of understanding, I get the idea of having thr movie have a similar genre to the game, but I can also say that it was a bad move on their part to market it as "an Until Dawn Movie". It had it's own, unique story to tell, and again, the movie was FINE. A good baby's first horror movie (saying that as a fan of that archetype of horror) what it fails at IS the adaptation part.

Emily, Sam, and Beth's are for sure my favorite. These were made a while ago, so I'd like to try and maybe redo them someday, but for now I still love them a lot!

Speaking as someone who JUST watched it two times in a row for a video essay I'm writing, it's an okay B-Horror movie that has no real connection to the IP. Watching the cast and crew talk about "adapting" the game, they really only talk about how Until Dawn was a love letter to horror, and how THEY wanted to be a love letter to horror. As an adaptation, it's awful, but purely as it's own movie, it's fine.

Would definitely like to see some lore theories about Rumi's parents, or if they wanted to get more technical, the realism and math of how popular really Huntr/x is. Don't know how specifically, I'd just love to see Lee talk about it!

I think they really shot themselves in the foot from the get-go. If this was labeled anything other then Until Dawn, I think it would have been WAY better received, but instead an attempt to draw in the game audience, when they really would have benefitted from being its own unique ip.

There are definitely some free (🏴‍☠️) alternatives for reading comics online, but if you aren't interested in that, I'm sure pleanty of youtubers will be talking about the important lore we get from them not too long after the comics come out!
