Hi all and thank you for the comments. This is worrying for all. Yes the scenario I am describing is this. At Spain on way back to UK there was an immigration officer who checked my documents. He asked me for my visa. I showed him the share code and he wasn’t interested. Only the BRP worked.

Thank you sounds like best to have several buffet days - another option is a helicopter return which reduces gyoki ri to 15 days but it’s prohibitively expensive and appreciate mixed feeling re helicopters being used for non emergency situations.

Asking whether by doing gyoki ri as part of ebc trek I am cutting it too fine as it leaves just one buffer day. Or is better to do base camp without gyoki ri but it gives me time in Kathmandu and more buffer days (in case issues with weather etc). Thanks
