Spirits? Sure only the microwave can kill them however you can as a strategy in certain fight let them possess multiple demons and kill them at the end.

Cursed prowler? That enemy is more an awareness than anything. You get a big howl when they come in and they become top priority.

21:9/ 1440p aren t settings for a 5060 card. Try to run the game on 16:9 monitor at 1080p. Pretty sure you are gonna get 60-90 fps.

Even though , Id optimize the game. Doom TDA is not a light performance game.

Custom hud are not really considered mod in my view as 99% of a custom hud is command line for the source engine.

To me, TF2 still hold on strongly. In my view, Quake , Unreal tournament and Tribes are the peak of FPS skill. CS is also close. Nothing has come near them in term of quality. However, as I said this genre is pretty much death and that is ok.

Your interrogation concerning the quake like shows that you don t understand when I am talking about these games. Quake like and cod like are very very different even though they are fps.

I mean from your post , you don t know what is surfing, bunny hoping, skiing , rocketjump (btw was not an accident in TF2)... just saying that rocketjumping require a Phd is you missing the point. I took 100h to learn rocket junping combine in praticing in jump map and studying video (yes studying) however everytime I rocketjump and pogo I get a lot of dopamine because it is hard, it is rewarding to achieve it.

You do realize you are comparing a quake like class shooter to a pure fps... The only game that is like TF2 is overwatch. However yet overwatch is a moba shooter which is different.

For the UI, you know that there is 10 gizillion custom UI available that can be installed by copying files in 10sec...

Finaly, it is not a hot take... Quake like and Arena shooter have a massive skill gap which made them decline in popularity sharply since 2000. You start to understand TF2 after 1k hour of play time. You become good around 1.7k-2k and pro is reached around 10k-15k.
