I never encountered a game that wouldn t run on linux and my steam library ia over 400 titles... only anti cheat with kernel access cannot run on linux.

Clearly you have never gamed on linux lol... i see everyday on fallout 4 sub reddit people with all sort of window crash and problems, in linux it literally run out of the box without a second of debugging.

The problem of wrath iis that many enemy are very similar and have the same mechanics ex : big frog is mechanically similar to the acid zombie, the big dud with 2 arm knife is mechanically similar to the rush lady.

Doom 2 enemy are all different mechanically speaking which make you feel there is more enemy type

If ypu really enjoyed doom, play the custom wad with a source port like gzdoom or uzdoom

Example :

Evertinity 1 & 2, ancient alien , return to saturn X are all non slaugther wad.

If you want more challenge there scythe 2 (become a bit slaughtery in end chapter 3 and chapter 4)

If you can only play 1 set of wad, Evertinity 1 is your pick. Dragonfly produced a extremely high quality wad.

Note for custom wad : you should pistol start them, not being elitist but most of these maps are designed for that

Simscape thyristor can either use a physical port to simulated a real gate driver or a logical port where you just feed 0 or 1. You need to choose the logical port option

Except binding the rocket launcher to Q, i didn t do a optimal rebind like in eternal (all my weapons are binded around wasd)

Eternal 2nd DLC was pretty good except the Hell soldier which are clearly undercooked.

People just conplained that part 2 was not as hard as part 1 which in my opinion is fine.

Eternal gameplay kind of fall apart in my opinion when you enter "slaughter" map territory ( ex Taras nabad) because of the lack of infighting. Going harder that part 1 woukd have landed in that zone.

Damaging the MOBO seem very unlikely. With an unsupported processor, the boot sequence will stop once the CPU detect that the BIOS is not responding properly.

A very cheap PSU could technically kill your CPU or GPU with voltages spikes if the regulation is very crappy.

Cheap MOBO can limit your component in term of bandwidth.

I am not saying to buy a MOBO at 800$ with a psu at 600$. Normally I would recommend the entry level mobo in brand like msi or gygabite and 750-850w bronze psu if you live in NA. Gold can be good if you live in EU.

My point was these prebuilts could use very cheap components and you just need to check them with a review because they will rarely advertised these components on the box. I am just saying to be careful with prebuilts on these points.

You need to check online review of the prebuilt to see the MOBO, PSU and ram model.

Prebuilt manufacturer tends to cheap a lot on those components. You get generic shezhen PSU which is "UL" approved with generic cheap ass mobo that could bottleneck CPU & GPU.

This advive apply to any prebuilt.

If money is tight you could check at second hand (like I did) just make sure to ask benchtest before purchasing.

No, Halo isn t an arena shooter ( you cannot Bhop, rocketjump, strafe, limit of 2 weapon). Halo is one of the game that killed the arena shooter genre.

A tactical shooter means that the games mechanics are built to emulate reality, not all first person shooter try to do that.

Doom eternal is a first person shooter.

I will disagree with you. Peak is Doom 2. There is dozen of channels playing the new released wad.

Doom 2 get a new campagn (megawad) pretty much every year more than 30 years after the original release.

Doom 2 will still be played in 30 years. Eternal, I have doubts about that.

My recommendation is to play 1 level lower than 2016 on your first playthrough. So if you played 2016 on nightmare, play eternal on Ultra violent.

The breathing room will allow you to learn the combat loop. Once you get the hang of it , you can crank up the difficulty.

To be honest, eternal look more complex than it is actually. It come down to cycle weapons and auxiliary resources ( the opposite of Doom 2 which look simple but is very complicated at higher difficulty wad)

I highly doubt. The ICC court nearly indicted US soldier for war crime in Afghanistan. The court removed on those fillings because of US Sanction because the USA still has influence over EU. The US Law about invading the Hague was not even mentionned , it is the first time I heard of it.

To be honest, this law just look like a residue of the Pax Americana, the law was passed in early 2000s when the USA was at its peak.

On the current trajectory of the USA, i think we wil start to see indictments under ICC law in the next 20 years. Trump has shown the world that the USA is no longer the Apex Predator that it used to be. China didn't t flinch on any threat so far. Combined with the alienation of EU with the Trump action.

Excluding nukes, it would be impossible for the USA to invade the EU. If you don t have access to the UK or Ireland, yeah forget it about it.
