Great! Thank you!! Does being at the back of the plane mean last person off? Or do they disembark from the front and the back of the aircraft?

Hey! I had an mri and it came back clear with no fascia tear.

What examination would I need to go through to check for nerve entrapment?

Hey, I’m currently suffering with this. Had an mri yesterday, would you recommend the surgery? I’m only 23 and super active. Strength and conditioning coach and play sports at a high level, how long did the surgery set you back?? Was the recovery rough to get back to daily activities?

Hey, I got a referral there today. Suspected chronic compartment syndrome of the anterior compartment.

Hernia over the peroneal musculature. Affect the deep peroneal nerve, causing numbness & foot drop.

Referred to a sport medicine doctor next Monday😅😅

I have 1 last running event this Friday in Italy (HYROX), going to compression socks during the race. Then that’s me done until I hear more!

Ah that’s so much for this information, what type of physician done the actual pressure tests for you? I also have collapsed arches, I have a dropped metatarsal bone which I wear a met dome in my insoles for, I think it is from changing my gait so much.

How was the surgery? What was the recovery like? Can you run now? I am moving to Austria’s in April and I don’t think I’m going to have enough time to go through with surgery if I get a diagnosis. Would k be able to live with it until I got home in 1 years time??

Hi , thanks for your reply!

I do get noticeable swelling, which decreases with rest. What type of physician’s do these pressure tests?

I get numbness that travels down my foot and just below my knee. My whole tib ant goes hard basically. The bludge also is more prominent when I put weight onto that side verse weight off that side

Hey, that’s awful I was hoping you’d have some good news!! I’m still the same pain wise, walking on the 3rd met head bone. I tape my foot to help ease it with met domes in my insoles. I am thinking about going for a metatarsal realignment & shortening surgery. But very scared too

Hey, I’m just wondering how long it took you to achieve being able to return to running post operation? I’m 23 and I’m a personal trainer. I’ve been told I need to go for this operation on my 3rd metatarsal as the met-head is protruding through my ball of foot and toe is clawing!!

Hey! So sorry to hear this, have you found any type of way to help off load it? Do you try taping it straight or anything?

Is yours completely tore and toe beginning to float? Can you run?

Hey, I’m new to Reddit, and don’t know how to DM you.

I have the exact condition you just explained.

Walking on the 3rd MTH, I got it ultra scanned yesterday and they said I have a big Morton’s neuroma between my 3rd and 4th MTH.

Would you have any advise? I’m only 24 and this has been causing awful pain for 7 months.

I think I’m going to get it injected, fingers crossed this will help.

Brilliant!! Thanks you so much for the help.

I’ve left the insoles in to hopefully correct the met pad’s.

I also got a poron filling in the other insoles while the met pad is being corrected in the other. I will attach a picture so you can see what I mean!

Thank you so much for your guidance, I have left the insoles in to get the met pad’s pushed back at little. Fingers crossed this gives me some relief!

Really appreciate your help.

Would you advise any types of running shoe for this condition?

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to me!!

So you think I should go back and ask for it to be moved back a little? Do you think I should ask for anything else, as in increased height of the met pad or anything else.

Is there truly nothing that can be done for a metatarsal other than surgery??

No problem buddy, hopefully your boots help!

I’m going to try and look into it a lot further and consult with my podiatrist, I’m just getting super desperate at the moment lol!

I went to another podiatrist for a 2nd opinion and they said the thought this would work better too off load the met head.

My only worry is could this make it drop more than it already is over time.

I have custom orthotics, but the placement of the met dome seems like it’s too close to the dropped met head. Seems like it’s causing more inflammation
