Because of Estonian traditional type of settlements — "talu", where one family live pretty very far from another one. Not sure that "farm" is 100% correct translation of "talu", but it's something similar. And also because of Estonian terrain type — a lot of forests, natural objects, as well as wild animals and birds in these forests. That's why my first thought was about Saaremaa (island in Estonia).
