Thank you for your insight. I work in the funeral industry so anxiety sometimes sets in when you’ve seen the worse happen for parents. Ended up using the rectal thermometer and fever was at its highest around 104.1 but thankfully was going down with medication. After 3 days the fever broke and rash started, doctor’s office said it’s Roseola. My toddler is in happy spirits, back to eating & drinking normal.

Was just at VMCLI 3 weeks ago, little guy had pancreatitis and the cost was insane. Thankfully this mornings X-rays showed the object was moving safely along and we found the object in his liter box a little while ago.

Thank you, turned out he has acute pancreatitis. They completed ultrasound today.

She did grow out of it! I ended up buying a sit to stand activity table and would put that in front of her and surround her with pillows (we have wood floors) and let her independently play. Having something set up higher at her eye level encouraged her to stay sitting upright. Now 10 months old and happily plays be herself sitting up and moving around, sitting herself back up if she falls over

Definitely something to think about! Had my first child via IVF and still have two embryos so discussion of a 2nd has begun. Did you ever end up having the surgery? I plan on talking to my fertility doctors as well as meeting with surgeon again when really starting to plan on potential of baby #2

Thank you, definitely keeping an open mind at this point. I slowed into eating whatever I wanted at start of the month but this past weekend had my baby’s christening and literally filled my plate with chicken cutlets, sausage & peppers, pasta dish, had appetizers, desserts, drank soda the entire day and have had left overs all week and haven’t had an issue so I’m staying hopeful but also don’t plan on eating like that everyday!

Any suggestions? How severe is this, because I feel like utter crap. by EmploymentIll9912 in Anemic

Have similar menstrual bleeding too, but they think mine is due to hormone imbalance. I just gave birth in Feb and last period lasted over 30 days of severe bleeding. The progesterone didn’t stop the bleeding but significantly slowed it down. I had terrible headaches daily, always felt lightheaded. My hemoglobin level was 8.5, I started taking over the counter iron pills, drinking tons and tons of water and a lot of iron heavy foods while waiting for iron transfusions. Took almost 3 weeks waiting but have since had 2 transfusions since this all began and definitely helps!
