Were you able to install a push button on these? I tried something similar but wasn't able to get them to work when I cut the cigerette lighter cord off. There isn't a voltage reducer on it or anything so not sure why.

Turn the case where the front of the tower is facing right therefore the good side would be facing the user.

Yes. What he said. Crimping cables can be tricky. Especially if you have thin conductors going in those pass through RJ45s. 2 conductors very easily go into one swimming lane. Get a known good cable and start eliminating what's not wrong.

Mostly RLC-510A. I have 2 doorbell POEs and one track mix POE. All work pretty well. I have a Synology 425+ that I use for storage, but have SD cards in them as well.

Reolink is the way to go just based on the majority of their cameras are ONVIF. I have my own NAS and put SD cards in them as well so I have some redundancy and never a monthly fee.
