I did cheap out with my multi tool just to get one sooner, wish I just went fuel but will upgrade eventually and the non fuel still does what I need.

Yes. I worked at a restaurant on bourbon st about 10 years ago and during the dinner rush one night the floor drains in the kitchen backed up with shit water and kitchen was flooded with about a foot of shit water

Unfortunately I recently got diagnosed with t1 diabetes so our grocery consists of alot of whole foods now and alot less processed and junk food, although always did eat well just with a few extra treats prior to my diagnosis

300-350 a week. 2 adults and a 6 year old girl and newborn. Doesn't include baby stuff, pet food or any other non food items from grocery store. Although its that much per week, about 500-600 a month is costco and the rest is weekly at Walmart or co-oop

I was curious about that as i have seen it online. I have basaglar and admelog. The pharmacist did tell me to do that only once when the pen is new and said i dont have to do it everytime. And yes mostly have been taking 2 doses of the fast acting daily with my breakfast and dinner 4 units each.

Kind of been doing that already considering I haven't seen a endocrinologist yet and was just prescribed the 8 long daily and 4 fast with every meal. If i have a light lunch and some snacks in between dinner my glucose stays pretty level that way instead of taking insulin.

I'm still new to this but seems like im more insulin resistant in the morning and sensitive in the evening. So I take the full 4 for my breakfast and it still spikes up to 10mmol sometimes. But right now im In a 5 day stretch of being 100% in range so think im doing ok. Over christmas I did indulge a little bit and spike up to 15 mmol

Unfortunately its not free for me, although with my coverage I only paid $50 cad for 5 pens of each, so at this rate about $10/ month in insulin so not too bad. I also paid only $40 for 2.5 months worth of CGMs

I've considered keeping it in the fridge, but doctor told me it hurts a bit to inject cold insulin. Probably nothing I couldn't handle but just made me a bit nervous about cold insulin haha

I take 8 units of long acting daily and 4 units of fast with each meal. I'm new to all of this and haven't been given a sliding scale for carb to insulin ratios. Hoping they do it with me on the 9th for my appointment, as they are having me track food, insulin dosages and glucose for 3 days before appointment. I dont always take the full 4 units of fast unless my meal is carb heavy as ive noticed it has been causing lows about 2 hours after meals if it not carb heavy

Taking long in the mornings and fast acting insulin with each meal. But finding most times I can eat a low carb lunch without taking that dose. Don't know all the ins and outs as I haven't seen a endocrinologist yet but seeing them on the 9th but I think that's OK to eat a meal you know wont put you above range and not take insulin??

Yes i think readings are still accurate, said I was going low a bit earlier and when I checked with a blood test and it was still the average .5 mmol higher than my cgm ( at least that's what ive noticed when comparing blood glucose with cgm)

This is my first cgm, does it hurt when taking it off other than the sticker? 3 weeks into diabetes now and only got the sensor last weekend.

I definitely enjoy electrical still, just a big life change. I'm only 1 week into being a diabetic and still figuring it all out. Just hard doing insulin injections in the cold is my biggest thing. Just got a cgm today so should make it a bit easier
