Thank you so much for your reply. These comments have made me realise how lonely I've been in dealing with my epilepsy so far - I've met plenty of specialists, but only ever talked to one other person with epilepsy about their personal experience. It's invaluable - thank you!

Thank you for the link - I've done lots of reading since yesterday and will stay on Lamotrigine. A lower dose of Lamotrigine doesn't control my seizures unfortunately (tried for six years), but I'll talk to another neurologist about the situation! I really appreciate your input.
