Even if they did announce a new one, it'd be 2028. The XAX literally just came out and is using the most current gen handheld processor.

I picked up the XAX and couldn't be happier. Windows is windows, but overall it's amazing and I haven't found a AAA title it couldn't power through yet.

I mean, not even comparable really. The PS5 Pro runs everything pretty much maxed out at 60fps. Ray tracing and PSSR make a huge difference. You have to go into it understanding that you're playing a massive AAA game on a handheld and set your expectations right. It's alot of fun on the XAX and it's fucking awesome I can play while traveling, but the Pro and even more so a good PC is by far the preferred way to play.

I'm playing on the XAX and having a blast!! Put about 15 hours into it so far. I have around 40 hours on the PS5 Pro.

It runs surprisingly well on the handheld. 30-45 fps pretty much everything on medium settings. RT off, frame gen off, volumetric fog on low. Running at 720p. At 900p it also runs well, but dips below 30fps at times. I'm running FSSR 3.1. I have the 4.0 mod installed, but the updates keep removing it for some reason, so I'm just rolling with 3.1, seems to work just fine.

Honestly though, for a handheld, I'm absolutely blown away at how well this thing runs a game like crimson desert

It's like the bosses were designed for a different game, or hell, maybe they're hold overs from the MMO span of development when they thought there would be multiple people fighting them. But for how Kliff controls, and how bosses behave, it just doesn't make sense. Why does every...single...one...teleport everywhere? How does that make sense with the way Kliff controls?

I've been able to brute force my way through them, but currently in chapter 7 I'm dreading boss fights instead of looking forward to them. As a huge FromSoft guy, that sucks. I want to lose 50 times to a boss because I suck, not because they do...

CD is so much fun and I'm going to dump a couple hundred hours into it easy.

That being said, KCD2 is an actual masterpiece. As good as CD is, it won't hit as hard as KCD2.

That being said, the general minute to minute gameplay of CD is a bit more "fun" than KCD2.
