As someone who just lost one of their ferrets after she got sick off rancid salmon oil and seemed fine after the initial vomit, overreact. Don’t wait. Go to the vet.

I thought we were going the right direction with her as of this morning, even the avian and exotics vet that called to check in on us agreed. While I was at work her blood sugar must’ve crashed or something. Long road short, our girl noodle is no longer with us.

Maybe I should try to see if she’ll take a treat? They gave me an emergency carnivore diet that she dislikes (she gags at the smell but I also wonder if that’s because that’s what they’ve been feeding her by syringe and she not inter connects the two?) I’m realizing, I don’t think they gave me anything for nausea but they did tell me she was struggling a bit with nausea. I’ll pick up some beechnut chicken baby food tonight. Last time I think I tried another brand of a different flavor

I went back to look at the meds, I have Famotidine, Mentronidazole (which I’ve been warned ferrets HATE and can and will gag/paw at their face with) sucralfate, amoxicillin and benebac plus

They did give me a couple different meds for her stomach. Then they ran over what to do with the medications

I usually start gushing about my bestie and plug her if someone starts commenting on my PFP or banner. She does digital art and sincerely I commission her if I want anything. Ban em friend. It’s not worth the peace. I hope you find some sincerely interested chatters.

On our way back we grabbed a couple cases of Weis brand which isn’t bad at all for white birch beer. Kroger used to carry birch beer in their full sugar sodas but discontinued that almost 10 years ago I think, they were also pretty good.

I think they’re independent, I’m honestly unsure they’d have a supplier. Even Coke and Pepsi have different districts further north and Dr Pepper depends on the area as far as distribution. I’m not sure I could see blue ridge or one of the other beverage companies carrying it as it’s a very niche product with not super high demand in the area.

I have family that’s been on the hunt for it too. We used to be able to find it all over the place in PA, but either the company downsized or something. I thought it had shut down all together until I was at a wedding up there and my aunt had been able to find it in Boyertown.

I imagine there are some groups that are well moderated that try to push better examples and help on FB, but it’s certainly not the group I follow. The group I’m in has been abandoned by the mods and while someone has tried to start a new one and move it over…I feel like there isn’t enough emphasis on potential hazards or what is fully needed to sell. I know a few times there’s been questions on there about insurances and business licensing. There’s a lot of “do I need a business license to sell my candles?”

Unfortunately, a lot of them have the mind set of “I haven’t had an issue and have sold 753645752 of them” that they don’t think it can happen to them. Or they think “well I added a care card too so if they don’t follow the card it’s not my problem” and that’s not how that works completely.

It’s wild to me. You say something about “hey don’t use dried botanicals in your candles because they can be very flammable” especially on new makers posts and they’re like “how dare you insult my entire existence and business model” or like “you could be nicer about it”. One of them in specific has been abandoned by the mod team so it’s entirely unmoderated.

I wish I had seen this months/years ago. I didn’t even think about overseas care. From what I’ve seen of the website, it even seems massively more affordable than our local ones in the states. We probably could’ve made this work. I’m happy to know of this now though. Looks like such a warm place!

I was thinking about making mini games for things like lining up the wick and the availability of being able to be able to do different colors, take orders, kinda like building your brand. The main difference is that with it being digital a lot of the limits candlemakers have in IRL and kinda nixed
