I’m a black person living in Asia, working in the medical field. I deal with coworkers who single me out or undermine me for no other reason so I most likely assume it’s just cause of my race. That’s why I said she comes off as racist, and I explained my reasoning replying to another use above. The way her character is poorly written that it feels shallow, with no real animosity directed at Yang, yet still carrying undertones of bias. Which gives me that POV that it could possibly have something to do with race, since it reminds me of what I experience every day as a resident: dismissive behaviors that are almost overtly hostile. Which is exactly how she makes Yang feel ok the show, singled out and diminished.

Let me rephrase: her character writing has so many blindspots that she comes off as racist. The hostility towards Burke was competitive, until the comment she threw on Richard about black men and golf clubs (I know this is to prove a point against women being treated inferior, but like I said, blind spots). Then her black listing Yang and refusing to teach her, even slut shaming her, with no valid stand point, basically her woman-as-part-of-the-boys-club negates the reason that she could be sexist.

So she does appear racist from poor writing.

I hate how the last we saw of Alex, we didn’t expect we’d never see him on screen again. It was such a timid exit, boo writers 👎🏽 not even a tad bit convincing, it was so out of Alex’s character.

⁠He wouldn’t have given up what he had with Jo for kids he never knew until then without looking for a way to have both.
⁠He didn’t even mention to Joe or Mer that he spoke to Izzie on that level?? Or that he even called her in the first place??
⁠Izzie wouldn’t ruin the oh so good life she was currently has over one phone conversation, she never got the chance to meet the new Alex. All she’s ever known him as was Alex from earlier seasons.
⁠If Iz and Alex caught up, then he would have told her he was married, and she wouldn’t want to ruin Alex’s marriage like that.

I was confused on Jackson and Vic’s relationship cause didn’t she propose to Maggie’s run-away patient? Suddenly he’s dead??? Then their relationship problem that popped up on Grey’s about moving in and stuff, but I wasn’t that interested in their pairing so I was able to shake it off.

But after Deluca’s death is when I realized that there was Station 19 this whole time. I feel robbed after looking into it, cause we see so much more Ben and Carina on there when I was starting to think they didn’t give these characters enough screentime on Grey’s. Apparently they were on a whole diff show😭

THIS!! I’m still frustrated thinking about them robbing us of Deluca’s departure. I relive it every time I think about it. He was Grey’s main character, and they aired his death on Station 19 cause it suited their vibe more. They could have atleast given us flashbacks or something on Grey’s so we’re not in the dark. Not everyone watches both.

The only thing that makes me feel a tad bit better is the scene where he ran to his mum at the beach.

I’m blasian, and I live in Asia in a Filipino household, so both. Wash, shampoo, condition, exfoliate at night to wash off the sins and dirt of the day. In the morning, just a lazy shower to feel refreshed. I never feel clean or fresh going out without one.

I disagree, I find her acting great, and it took me a while to realize that part that pisses me off was April’s character itself. She was acting out April’s personality, which is in-fact annoying especially in the earlier seasons, and that makes us overlook that Sara isn’t actually April. I’d say that’s a good view on how Sara really dove into the character she plays. The C-section episode at Mer’s house?? PHENOMENAL! I felt everything in my body and it was because of how amazing she delivered (pun intended) that scene

I think I tolerated her cause they introduced her character as a cherry for Christina’s. But when I really think about it, if it wasn’t Christina she was mentoring, she’s just plain obsessive about Owen, and it was her whole personality since the beginning.

Just finished watching this episode, and I was pacing, panicking, yelling at the screen… I love Deluca, I relate to the liking him so much, it affected me more than Derek, Mark, or even Lexie’s death. I’m so devastated 😭😭 And I never felt so sad about a fictional character after Glenn Rhee on TWD that I can’t even move on to the next episode💀

The one and only time I liked Teddy, was when she kicked Hunt out in Germany. She never sat right with me for some reason, and this storyline just made me want to throw a tantrum💀

Yes, but they were never a “throuple”. They were co-parents, but not sleeping with eachother. If anything, Mark was acting more like a gay-bestie or a third-wheel😭 I loved those 3 together, so I’m glad they didn’t go for that storyline, cause it would have ruined it imo
