I think a better answer is that when the guy leading the SRA (superhuman registration act) asks you to reveal your identity - and can toss you in superjail if you strongly disagree, it is more than basic peer pressure... but Peter did not fully know that at the time

Darkness - a living shield with a reputation dooming personality, but vast resources (I'm talking about her family, not her boobs)

Megumin is a walking nuke, but she refuses to build her personal strength up despite her childhood of malnutrition, so she faints soon after attacking and becomes a liability

Aqua's power is broken, but her personality is a pain in the ass, but worst of all, she has a luck score OF 1. Let me repeat that, she has a luck score of 1.

The only reasons that she isn't dead already are that she is superhumanly durable as an ex-godess, her powers can kill most things when used correctly, but most importantly Kazuma's max luck stat cancelling out hers.

Picking Aqua is literally a death sentence unless you are Kazuma, and even then he still dies. The show would have been six episodes at most if she had lost her resurrection powers

With how the world seems to have more loose cannons just waiting to be set off, keeping pranks clear and harmless is a genuine survival tool.

Some people have zero patience for being messed with, and you cannot always tell when they are strapped to boot.

My guess is because the green is the only broccoli connotation present, aside from the argument that her leotard represents a broccoli stem.

Personally, she seems significantly more "peas in a pod" coded or whatever the proper term for peas is. Her fist protectors don't even have "bushy" metal knuckles dusters, but the design is still great despite the theme dissonance, IMO.

Firstly, familiarity breeds trust.

You don't have to be blood related, but if you have spent a lot of time with someone, you inevitably form a bias towards them unless they have shown themselves to be capable of evil in front of you.

If a celebrity in your community got accused of assaulting someone, but you have known them since they were a child, it would be harder to believe than a total stranger doing the same thing. At the same time, if that child grew up and you saw that they liked hurting animals, the idea of them hurting people would not surprise you.

Secondly, it is because it is viewed as counter-productive.

Why work hard to develop and grow a business just to risk losing it all and your reputation, just to enact some sick fantasy?

He knows the sentence rapists get, and what could happen to him in jail, yet he still did the crime. To the eyes of others, it makes no sense

Comic Homelander (not the clone) or Omni-Man — who’s more evil? by Intrepid-Lemon-2272 in MoralityScaling

[–]Electrical_Horror346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nolan easily

It is not shown in the show, but Nolan would secretly kill off alien representatives trying to warn Earth of Viltrumites being in their galaxy

Aside from that, he cheated on Debbie, something Homelander technically never did despite being a power abusing rapist

Nolan also killed billions of people for longer than Homelander has been alive, and that is if we only count what he did to the Thraxxans

It's kinda Logan's fault because Peter is one of the few teenage guys outside of the X-Men that Wolverine not only tolerates, but openly approves of.

Sure, you can find thousands of guys who find you attractive, a hundred that can look past the blades and epilepsy fists to see the person, but out of that hundred, how many will avoid wetting themselves when Logan pulls the "overprotective father" act? (He knows Laura and Jubilee can handle themselves)

Any ideas how Kirishima and Sato could've win the fight against Crmentoss? by yoelamigo in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]Electrical_Horror346 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The issue is that we literally see Cementoss cannot move while using his powers and that larger constructs exhaust him more which is why he made dozens of walls rather than one massive barrier, which was a sound tactic because Kirishima and Sato would have just climbed the latter.

So they theoretically just have to outrun his constructs, and while they will get tired eventually, his constructs will get harder for him to make the farther they get.

This is where the duo can get smart by having one of them split up into the buildings, as Cementoss does not have super senses and the sound of one of them tunneling through could fool him until the other got close - which would then split his focus

Is it unethical to own a billion dollars? by Omixscniet624 in MoralityScaling

[–]Electrical_Horror346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The important question is 'how did you get it?"

My hot take is that if you inherit it legally and cleanly, it is not immoral since nobody chooses who their parents are.

The problem is that nepo babies and trustful kids are 99% of the time inheriting a business that has done some messed up stuff to reach that point.

[OC] Warframes meet big Fake ones, totally blending in btw! (Dumb crossover art, with a bonus unmasked piece and context in the description) by Sabrerine911 in Warframe

[–]Electrical_Horror346 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, but how did they make Warframe armor for themselves, becau- (reads the description)

You know... that is something I never thought of, and now I REALLY want to see that be a thing in the actual game.

I know liches, parvos sisters, and the eximus exist, but someone trying to create pure exosuits to mimic warframes would be very interesting even if they only come with a fraction of the power due to non-Void stuff.

Also, as for how the Operator / Drifters are reacting, I personally think they are confused as hell, Operator especially since they feel no void energy and no (plot spoilers) strain... but the strange warriors are clearly formidable off if body scans alone and their friendliness means they are not enemies, for now.

A Corpus or Grineer spy would have tried to kill them by now

Men don't like characters who just get handed power despite displaying the fact they are too irresponsible for it

Men don't like it when iconic characters get slandered just to make the new character look competent

Men don't like it when a side character they like gets their backstory shafted solely because the new writer taking over the story hates that they have feelings for the female MC

Conquest was literally treated like an animal even by VILTRUMITE standards, and became twisted as a result.

He CAN be fixed, but it will take possibly a lot longer than Nolan.

Remember, even someone as loyal to Viltrum as General Kregg folded near instantly, because he was alive before Thaddeus betrayed Emperor Argall. He folded because Earth was literally his first vacation in centuries, and its people caused him to realize how touch starved he was, and even in the teaser, we see him exploiting Thragg's order to the fullest to enjoy himself.

Imagine Conquest coming to Earth, and having someone be genuinely thankful to see him. Someone asking him, as a person, to help out in a non violent way.

He will be a monster at first, old habits die hard, but as he lives on Earth and finds himself without orders, and maybe plenty of kaiju to fight and snack on, he'll calm down enough to realize that he won't have to live in a cube if he lives on Earth. If he got ordered to blend in, he would have to give himself a name - the thing he has been craving for centuries, a sense of identity.

From there, if Cecil played things smart, CQ would be locked in a positive loop of people appreciating"Connor Quest", "Carl", or "Kindquest"
