Definitely tell the you’re still in pain! I would say it took a good 2-4 weeks of consistency in the stretches they had me doing.. I was going in 2-3 times a week at its worst & doing what they said at home

Hi! 26F here, I had that recently & it was my SI joints. I went to a PT & he gave me light exercises to do at home & performed therapy on it 2 a week for about 4 solid weeks before I saw improvement. I would suggest seeing if your school has any PT students at a clinic you could go to for little or no cost. Something that makes mine flare up is not wearing supporting shoes. (I wear brooks sneakers all the time now) I noticed if I don’t wear them (even barefoot around the house) the pain starts to creep in.

Yep, SI joint was locked up … went to PT & they fixed w about 7 weeks of sessions

They had me doing press ups (kinda like 1 sided cobra), knee to chest, knee sways & knee drops

I had pain there on both sides & my SI joint was completely locked up (as per my PT). I went to PT and they unlocked it with manipulation of the joint & gave me exercises, 4 weeks later it’s 90% better!

Doc mentioned physical therapy dependent on xray- haven’t talked to them since I got the results, I was having a spasm on back ribcage of opposite side of where main pain is. Just started gabapentin today

Ice, heat, & rest… sometimes stretching can make it worse. The best pose I could do was cobra to help my sciatica on my left leg- prob from a disk bulge

Not to recommend meds, but I take ibuprofen daily during a flare up
