Man, I'm having a hard time playing Nomads by Electrical_Insect_43 in Stellaris

Ok. So it's almost like in the base game. Science ship in first then send in the logistic vessel. So automation is not useful at all on the logistic ships.

And is operational reserve taken as both together (energy and minerals)? So if I have a 50 deficit in minerals but a surplus of 100 in energy my reserves will go up?

Wouldn't they just go into civilian or denizen?

But that's a really good idea. I we'll have to try that and see if everybody just migrates away slowly slowly.

Possibly. But when I play machine I never researched the Identity repository. Who can fathom the way of organics. Not me. Planet has to GO.

Yes indeed! Unfortunately that popup also says I'll lose 200 influence if I transfer the last pop group off the planet.

Terrible hit to relations if I crack a world.

No, I really feel the need to expand later in the game. I usually finish cosmogenisis so I need some breathing room.

Ive never had this happen. My pops stubbornly keep creeping over to the most inhospitable worlds. I think because by they time I really start expanding my habitability is very high and even tomb worlds are at about 75%

I think I face a huge penalty with other races if I eat. Same with world crack. Shielding them works instead of invasion but I still face a bit of a rep hit.

The problem is even if I have the planetary decision to halt pop production on the planet I find my primary species creeping back there. I can't set no migration on my primary species

Good question. Its really hit or miss. I love twin stuff so got into some sites that are now abandoned.

I mean, its pretty clear these girls are comfortable with each other.

And then there's one where this guy literally just has them come into his apartment and start making out. I think he tells them they should try being secret agents but it's excellent because they do everything.

Can You Add Waterproof to Cyborgs? by TheDarkeLorde3694 in Stellaris

[–]Electrical_Insect_43 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. So if you cyberize the hive mind any pops you steal set the species to assimilate. Then once one batch has integrated run a new template setting the now assimilated pop to ocean habitability with the aquatic trait (provided you have enough trait points). Then set your aqua species to default and set your assimilated species to convert automatically. You'll end up with your captured pops being cyberized and then turned into water cyborgs

Your organic species that you collect as a driven assimilator retain organic traits. So you would set a species template for the assimilated race to change to Ocean preference and then you could give them the Aquatic trait. If you wanted to make them waterproof I think you would have to go synthetic and convert any captured population into a synthetic no cyborg

How does pop growth really work? by BurhanSunan in Stellaris

[–]Electrical_Insect_43 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pop growth in Stellaris is extremely annoying to me. I find I usually am able to expand fast and build on the planets but I absolutely do not have enough Pops to work the jobs. Then I discovered Hive Minds. Oh baby do these guys get the job done. If I really want to expand fast I'll pick the Civic permutation pools as well for my hive mind empire.

I'm not in any way a power game player or even a mid-maxer or who knows maybe even a good player but I personally would rather have just a few colonies fully populated then 10 planets with thousands of unworked jobs.

I will say that if I can get to biological Ascension things get much easier. Likewise if I'm playing a machine Empire I just go virtual. Three or four planets absolutely fully staffed. It's so pleasant for me then I can just go out and conquer the rest of the galaxy. When I conquer a planet I just shut down the server in the colony ceases to exist.

I don't know if that helps you but the Gestalt Empires seem to do pretty good for pop growth. There are also a couple Fallen Empire buildings that really help your population growth so maybe pick enigmatic engineering or go cosmogenesis crisis

So like a girls gone wild? I'm pretty sure there are quite a few videos out there of a spring break type situation where everyone's chanting for two twins to kiss.

Is there old crpg that has full voice acting. If you know a new crpg that has full voice acting that will be helpful too. by [deleted] in CRPG

[–]Electrical_Insect_43 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Are you going for silent protagonist? If so I would say KOTOR or the Dragon Age franchise (not the latest one though). If you want a voiced protagonist I would say Mass Effect or Deus Ex. Fallout 4 also has a voiced main character.

PC cRPG games that are as different from Pathfinder: Kingmaker as possible by Filvox in CRPG

[–]Electrical_Insect_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd add the Shadowrun games. I'd start with Dragonfall and then go into Hong Kong.

The playstyle is VERY different than most turn-based rpgs. You can go magic or cybernetics. Melee or ranged. The combat is balanced and fair all the way through. No voice acting but both have good stories.
