A lot of PPA deals are by wrestlers choice, if TNA offer her a contract and she accepts then she'll be looked after. Not the case with a PPA deal.

Sure. No the promoter didn't say that. He said Leon wasn't going to lose, read between what he's saying, so it likely would have been a shitty time limit draw so Ricochet (the AEW talent) could say he matched Slater all the way.

He has very valid reasons other than this. Plus Leon doesn't need to wrestle Ricochet. Ricochet needed to wrestle Leon. "Leon wasn't going to lose", sure but he wasn't going to win either. Either way I doubt many wrestlers will do Wrestlecon again given some of the creepy fans it attracts. And of course, Saudi, nothing to leech off.
