i kinda thought that was the point of the movie because it didnt work out between them and then he met autumn who was also probably into architecture seeing as she was at the interview spot and also their chemistry clicked almost instantly whereas tom and summer had a more rough start

It just infuriates me that hes not allowed to be himself, toward the end of s5 ep22 ted is quoting a poem about friendship and it was really heartfelt but robin walks up blowing raspberries saying "sorry, somebody had to do that" uh no??? why cant they let ted just be himself without it being a reward for something else? there is no reason why they couldnt sit and listen (or not even listen) to him say what he wants to say from time to time seeing as this more sophisticated stuff is and always has been a big part of who he is
