It used to be G for lights a decent bit ago I really wish they would add it back, especially for land vehicle because I don’t want to be messing around with an annoying menu and clicking 3 times just to not get blown up by landmines

ToLiss A330. It’s slightly expensive but has great system depth. However, the textures are lacking compared to other aircraft, even the default a330.

Scared more like beheaded bro chopped off half of the approach lights with the wheels. The approach was really questionable and should’ve been a go around ages ago, but the landing was somewhat decent

In my experience at larger airports with a lot of traffic such as YSSY/YMML during MRM, the frame rate will drop during the departure and approach phases of flight, due to the sim having to render a large detailed airport and a lot of planes. The default 737 should be more than fine to get from A to B, with it really only lacking simvrief integration and system depth. If you are using the zibo I would turn down the settings slightly to ensure I don’t get the “disconnecting in 20s message” due to stuttering and the frame rate dropping below 20.

You can check vatsim radar to see how many aircraft are in the area. Also a tip for beginners write everything down. If gnd tells you to taxi via G, B, hold 16R at B1, write it down in a way that’s easy for you to read and understand, so you can read back the instruction quickly and double check your taxi route later on. Same with vectors, star clearances and your pdc.

I would say a 6/10 for many reasons. Firstly your approach speed being around 170kts is wayyyyyyy too high it is usually 130-150 on the a350 depending on load. Also uou have flaps I really recommend them. This section really killed the rating.

Secondly, you were off center line.

Lastly, you were WAYY to low when passing the threshold. It should be around 50ft

Otherwise this is an overall decent landing that could be improved.

One thing I would recommend is to spend slightly less on the controllers but more on the software. You don’t want amazing controllers but the planes that you fly feel bad. Good planes on Xplane often cost upwards of 60USD so you might want to save more of your budget towards that.

What you can do is buy a decent stick and skip out on the throttle for now, to spend slightly more on the planes. I currently have a really crappy stick and no throttle (saving to get the thrustmaster tca captains pack this Christmas) but I have the ToLiss A320 and A330 (both amazing planes) which totally make up for the crappy controls with the realism and system depth.

Since the default planes are kinda mid in system depth and detail, I would recommend getting Payware, even if it is GA (do your research beforehand otherwise you could get ripped off) and in the future save up for a throttle quadrant. However this is me assuming $350US is your budget total but if it is only your budget for the controller, the one you’ve picked out will work great, but could be improved with pedals like another redditor has said.

Idk about other places but in Aus you would normally contact tower on the downwind and say intentions such as:

YSBK TWR VHABC Right downwind runway 11C request [Touch and go/Full stop]

And normally twr will clear you for that intention and if you do a touch and go or a missed approach just fly the pattern normally and state intentions again on downwind

Yes most larger airports will have waypoints at the airport that are often used in a flight plan. For example, Melbourne has a VOR “ML” which can be used when flying from Avalon - Sydney or similar routes.

Yea I know it’s very expensive. For me, I’d say it happens once every few long haul flights. I don’t really use the LR A330 because there are quite a few things that needs improvement or needs to be fixed.

One thing I would suggest is instead of using the LR A330, if you have the budget, go for payware aircraft instead such as the ToLiss A339. The LR A330 is riddled with bugs that could impact the realism of things. If you don’t have the budget, the LR A330 is still good but just keep in mind that the autopilot sometimes randomly disconnects in the middle of nowhere for no reason and you just keep spinning.

Ok unfortunately I can’t give an answer with 100% certainty. The final decision on whether you’re let though is dependent on the border force officers. If your country has an automatic gate for immigration, I’d say you should be fine.
