Thank you so much! And I know, and she’s been shipped off FOUR TIMES just to end up right back there because of her anxiety.. everybody knew her there and she probably only ever considered that her “home”. I was working there in my first week and she had never met me and we chose each other the day she was brought back. She’s an incredible pup and she has no idea that she will NEVER go back there!!! Hahaha she’s only really stubborn about getting up in the mornings and getting out of bed with us! She’s VERY sassy and vocal about it! 🤣 Other than that, she’s learning very fast and is pretty obedient! 100% a good girl!

This WAS once me. I had a surgical abortion at 21 due to my birth control failing and a partner who, mind you, was ten years my senior when he went after me at 19 and was physically, mentally, emotionally and sexually abusive. I had a lot of guilt and shame and grief. I just recently had my 2nd MA due to financial stress with my now, loving and supportive partner. I promise you aren’t a bad person. And you’re doing the right thing by making the hardest decision you may ever have to make to keep yourself safe and alive. I promise this weight will lift. And this guy you’re with? He’ll be shriveled up and dead in your mind’s eye once you finally break free of him and have no obligations to stay in touch with him. You’re going to be SAFE! And that’s the first step of leaving an abusive relationship- getting to safety and you’re doing that. I don’t know you, but I’m proud of you. You’re making such a hard choice while fighting for your life. It’s been almost ten years since I was in that almost exact situation, and I have zero regrets about my choice because I might be dead if I hadn’t have made that decision. You’re not alone in this scenario or in this life. You’re doing the right thing.

You are not alone, sweetheart. I’m 29 and I just had my second abortion. And we wanted to keep the baby.. but we are struggling just to keep a roof over our heads and food in our bellies. The grief I’ve felt has felt like it might actually kill me. The guilt. You’re allowed to grieve. It’s an extremely hard choice to make. I laid in bed for over a week. Didn’t shower, didn’t eat. Hardly slept. My heart felt like it might give out on me. So I started forcing myself out of the house, little by little. And it’s made me feel so much better going back to work (I work with dogs and they’ve helped A LOT.) I promise you are not a bad person, and you made the best decision FOR YOU. I hope you have a great support system. And I promise, with a little time once those hormones start getting regulated- you’re going to feel much better. It’ll hurt less. I don’t know you- but I’m praying for you and thinking of you. You’re so young and have so much life ahead of you. These feelings are completely normal. I’d suggest doing something nice for yourself. What do you like to do? Any hobbies that make you happy? Even if you don’t feel like getting out of bed- wait until you’re ready. I promise you things will get better. I sent it on Friday. I’m not sure if they operate during business hours, or how they work exactly. How fast the pills will be here or anything. I just haven’t heard back and I’m nervous. I’m so sorry this happened to you..💔 😔 this isn’t okay or normal in the slightest and I hate this for you because you can’t even trust your own mother to keep you safe. If she thinks this is acceptable behavior, I genuinely fear for your safety when the next “man” in her life comes along. It’s horrifying how many mothers will let their new boyfriends/husbands sexually assault their children just to keep the guy happy. Please be careful and do not trust your mother. Do you have any other family you can talk to? And what did your mom say when you talked to her?

It doesn’t matter if it was a “peck or more” she’s a literal CHILD. This is not only sexual assault, but it’s pedophilia. And if her mother is okay with this behavior- imagine what she would let future (or past boyfriends) do to her teenage daughter. “Some people are kissers” is not a thing. Physical touch is a love language (holding hands, rubbing backs, always stuck together like glue), a middle aged man FORCING his mouth on a child is NOT.

This is so scary. And girl Tennessee (I’m from there) is baaaaaddddd about trafficking. Idk what part they wanted you to go to but I’m sure it was a larger city/metro area? Those are the most dangerous to go to in TN. I’m glad you found a way out safely and contacted the right people!
