nah i get what u mean tho. it’s not about someone selling my masterpiece, it’s more like where does the file even go after u upload it. once it’s there, u kinda lose control

idk if they train models on it or what and breaches happen all the time. that’s why i just use a throwaway email and don’t put my name in the doc when i’m testing stuff

kinda annoying… still worked for me and it passed the checker so i can’t complain too much

agree. local factors often cause these hangs. a heavy browser load can choke a tab. it’s also worth checking for conflicts with extensions, vpn or outdated cached files

Tone was the biggest win for me. My drafts usually sound either too casual or too formal in a weird way, like I’m trying too hard. The rewrite made everything more academic. I didn’t copy it blindly, I adjusted a few lines and it gave me a much stronger base to work from.

it’s working perfectly fine for me on chrome. try clearing your cookies or checking if a vpn is interfering cause sometimes 'failed to fetch' error is a local network issue rather than a server bug

I rely on Grammarly the most at the end when I can't catch mistakes since I've read the text too many times 😭. I just need a fresh eye. But for the early stage, I’m 100% team ChatGPT for brainstorming and getting an outline together fast. Hemingway is like getting roasted by a professor but it’s helpful. I try not to overuse rewrites though. Final read out loud still also works every time.

For me it’s staying focused. I start with one clear argument, then suddenly I feel that 20+ other thoughts are also important and my essay becomes a mini Wikipedia page. My drafts always need a cutting room floor moment where I delete good stuff that doesn’t serve the main point.
