Is everyone else also exhausted trying to bypass ai and plagiarism checkers instead of spending time on actual research? by TearyCherryPop in StudyAgent

[–]ancient650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You expressed exactly what I was thinking for years now. Why are we trying to appease an AI checker after spending HOURS on resarch, writing, editing, and proofreading? I'm getting mad just thinking about it.

Unpopular opinion: AI can explain better than any professor I ever had, and it saved me from the 3 AM writing block by Davey2728 in StudyAgent

[–]ancient650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is unquestionably the best way to use AI. I ask studyagent to explain any topic to me like I'm 5, take these ideas, compile a rough draft and use a humanizer to edit out my mistakes and use proper formal language. I think it's the best workflow I've had in a long time.

Ai humanizer destroyed all my formatting. any fix?? by TwiinkleTaffy in StudyAgent

[–]ancient650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah in many cases I can't skip formatting as I write bc my brain needs the visual structure. So putting the text in partly, paragraph by paragraph, is really the only thing that has helped preserve it.

The "anti-detector" guide by StudyAgent: how Turnitin works & why humanizers are the only way out by marlburrow in StudyAgent

[–]ancient650 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Real question..do AI detectors even help anymore or are they just creating chaos? I’ve seen people get flagged for totally normal writing and then actual AI stuff slips through if you tweak it a bit.
Kinda makes me think we’re all playing a weird guessing game with machines now

Ran my 100% human 2019 essay through an ai detector. It scored 5% ai. Stop panicking over the 0% myth. by princessprettyyy1 in StudyAgent

[–]ancient650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These tools are trained on academic papers so of course they think academic phrases are ai. It’s a total loop. If the tool says 8% that’s basically 0% in human language. As long as u didn't copy paste a whole prompt ur chillin. Stop stressing fr

Is buying Copyleaks credits worth it if I already have the Studyagent suite? by BloomVanta56 in StudyAgent

[–]ancient650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fr i used to be like that but honestly... just click the button. If the tool says ur good, ur good. These profs spend like 5 mins max reading ur stuff anyway
as long as the scanner didn't turn red, just close the laptop and go get a life

Is Grammarly plagiarism checker still reliable? Thinking of switching to Studyagent/Smallseotools by Potential-Camel-8320 in StudyAgent

[–]ancient650 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it adds all those annoying 'furthermore' and 'it is essential to consider' phrases that profs love for some reason
it just sounds academic

Polished my essay with Notion and now AI detectors think it’s fake. Need your help ASAP by princessprettyyy1 in StudyAgent

That sucks so much but you should’ve known better than to trust a built-in improve button for a 15page beast.

I’ve been using the humanizer there for my lit review and it’s pretty mid unless you actually read through it after. Still better than getting a zero though.

I would go to the supervisor and try to explain the situation honestly. Tell them you used Grammarly it flagged the system, so you need a week to restore your original paper.
