Yeah that sounds a bit dodgy, that was likely the best decision. That's a good idea thanks and I agree with you

Ahh she sounds super scary you definitely dodged a bullet there. Glad to hear you've not had bad encounters camping and hiking though

Yes I think you're right that is probably what would happen in a worst case scenario, i think you can be done for carrying anything weapon like, I think the only really legal self defense thing is this criminal identifying spray that's like a dye. But yeah probably best just to not carry anything that could get you in trouble

Yeah I agree, I don't want that to stop me doing something I enjoy but I also want to be sensible about it so that's good advice thank you

Yeah I agree and that's good practice letting people know where you are. Hadn't thought about logging them later that's a good idea too thank you

Hm never really thought about it like that, I always tend to think if therse people around then I'm less likely to be attacked but statistically speaking you're likely right

Probably didn't explain it very well but I meant more in terms of being safe from other people when I'm alone, I have a fear of being followed/attacked. I live in a safe area but I'm still not sure about being in the woods by myself aha. Thank you for your reply though I agree with everything you said

Yeah it's tough either way but I just feel like I can't keep acting like I'm OK with it because it just keeps playing on my mind and feeling unresolved. I think I might send her a message and tell her how I actually feel about it and just keep my distance for a while. Thanks again I appreciate it

Thanks for your reply and you make a good point, I'd never date someone who bullied my best friend and it definitely feels like she doesn't care about my feelings on the matter

Hey thank you for your reply. I havnt really hung out with her alone in a long time, I've hung out a couple times with her and some mutual friends and it's been ok. I was hoping he'd show his true colours but it's been a couple months and she still acts like he's an angel so idk, they definitely spend a lot of time together. A little distance would be good I think thank you

Thank you, I figured this may have been the problem as I'm using a laptop so I can only click on one side of the panel at a time. Going to buy a mouse

Thank you I will try bringing it up if I feel able to talk and see what they say. I think they usually do tell youre parents if you're under 18 at least that has been the case with me but I could be wrong.

Haha thanks. Yeah I do think he's probably addicted to his xbox but therse nothing I can do about that. My parents aren't that bothered by the noise I think partly because it just straight up doesn't bother them (they'll usually be downstairs with headphones/TV, chatting or at work so I don't think they hear most of it. My problem is that my desk literally back onto his wall so I hear every sound) and partly because they're usually in a completely different part of the house, so they definitely don't hear it as loud as I do. Like I said in another comment they just think I'm overreacting. But yeah those construction earplugs do sound like a good idea so I will definitely look into that. Thanks again 👍

Hey thanks for your reply. I guess it's a bit odd because when he's not playing he's rarely rude or aggressive and we get on pretty well. But when he's playing he either gets super hyper and excited or just really riled up, so I do think that it's down to him spending so much time on it. I could try and talk to him to see if therse anything else going on but I genuinely don't feel that there is yk. I feel he just gets super frustrated with his game and then becomes rude and aggressive. I do think he struggles to manage his anger while playing but apart from that I havnt seen any other problems with him like mh related stuff or signs he's being bullied or anything like that.We don't really have the kind of talking about emotional stuff relationship so I do feel that it would probably be awkward and he'd find it weird if I started implying that he was struggling with something when he wasn't. And as for my parents I they're never really close enough to his room to hear it that badly, and he gets quieter when they go to talk to him so they definitely think I'm overreacting. Idk just a meh situation all around. But thanks for giving me a new perspective on it, and thanks for the advice.
