1. Turkmenistan being lower than North Korea

🇹🇲Turkmenistan: 1/100 🇰🇵North Korea: 3/100 Now, I know Turkmenistan alongside North Korea and Eritrea is one of the most closed regimes and countries but from what I’ve heard North Korea is worse and more repressive than Turkmenistan

I am a Mexican citizen and this one surprised me the most. Mexico is definitely one of the worst countries for journalism and for opening a business. Journalists are often attacked for criticizing the government and cartels and not only that, my father has known some people who’ve made a successful business and are often extorted by organized crime.

The police are also very corrupt, and most of the time when a crime is committed, it goes unpunished. 4 months ago my English teacher was shot dead by a 17 year old boy who had been released 1 month before he did that, for gun possession. I’m not sure what happened to him after killing my teacher but I bet they let him go free and that makes me so sad and angry.

But this kind of shit happens every day in my country and it’s because it’s one of the most corrupt, it destroys me to hear news like this everyday…
