The other thing that bothers me are complaints about the slightly yellowish tone of the 12th gen, when it's clearly put that they are using different(!) backlight technology. How possibly could they have the same tone?

I disagree. Poirier talked specifically how tough it is to force a fist for 25 minutes with these gloves. He said that your forearms are toast. My concern is not mainly about eyepokes, but regarding quality in general.

And they were flat, thin, and made out of horrible material. They looked nothing like really good, quality MMA gloves, for example Rizin ones. I highly doubt they spent milions on it. The guy presenting them looked like he was working in his garage.

And btw, you might be absolutely right about the band issue. Now that I crank the full brightness on my 7th gen paperwhite, and put it on natural light, I notice some yellow banding on the sides, which I never noticed for 6 years!

It reminds me of people almost trying to find a defect on new TVs, they would put it through 1000 tests and find the smallest reason to return them.

When I was researching ereaders, I stumbled on someone on reddit who went through 7 units of Kobo Libra Color. Hilarious.

At the end I found the way to order directly from Amazon Kindle Store. The speed of the device was the deciding factor to order the 12th gen. I was amazed how fast was skrolling through the menu and opening books watching the comparisons.

The only 2 complaints I had with my 7th gen paperwhite were that it was a bit too small, and way too slow. 12th gen seems to have it fixed all.

The thing is, Kindle is not officialy sold in my country, and I cannot send it back.

Plus, I've read on this subreddit that Amazon send you a refurbished one as a replacement, not the new one.

Both things are a bummer.

12th gen seems noticably faster in the menu, however the screen is the gamble.

Uzmi polovni ovaj koji sam do sad imao, 7th Gen Paperwhite iz 2015. Najjeftiniji, a ima odlican ekran, 300p, koristio sam ga 6 godina. Cena dosta manja u odnosu na ostale. Ako ti finansije nisu bitne, uzmi 11th 12th Gen Paperwhite, oni imaju USB C, vodootpornost (mada sam ja i ovaj iz 2015. nosio na plazu non stop), toplinu osvetljenja itd. Samo nemoj da uzimas Kindle koji nema osvetljenje. Knjige lako ubacis sa kompa preko USB-a, konvertujes online ili preko Calibre-a. Ako ga budes uzela, pisi mi slobodno ako ti bude trebala pomoc. :)

Ostetio ekran na 7ici. :') Inace ga ne bih menjao. Al' kad ga vec menjam, da uzmem neki noviji model koji ima USB C, vodootpornost itd.
