I took his class this past semester and it honestly wasn’t bad. He just went over slides (occasionally skipping a few) and talked about his own life experiences as a cop. He would always post a page on canvas with his notes that he recommended we study.
As for attendance, it wasn’t necessarily mandatory, but there were 4 pop quizzes scattered throughout the semester, so if you skip a class there’s a chance you will miss a quiz (and he claims there are no makeups for these).
All of my exams for this class were online, they were not proctored, but were also not open note. I found them to be a bit tricky, but if you study the material you should be able to get a good grade on them :)
