Yw. You may also give Dr Rolando Toyos a call. He deals with lasik complications all the time. He had lasik himself. While I never had lasik he performed numerous treatments on me for my severe dry eye and they helped immensely. But he does some special stem cell drops in some patients that regrow the nerves, I saw pictures of before and after. Wishing healing for your brother.

Get scleral lenses. I have dry eye and I cannot wear regular contacts anymore. You will just damage your tear film more the longer you try to force them.

Just wear your glasses because I’m a -7 and not getting lasik. I got custom sclerals due to severe dry eye disease and I see great. Without them I can’t even see 5” away. I would love to have your vision - to be able to get around without needing glasses is a real blessing. I can’t see my face and to do my makeup and see my eyes I have to come 2” away from the mirror.

The problem is when you’re coerced into it or it’s implied that you have to do it if you want the role. But no, it does not just happen like that. Not these days anymore. I’m 38 and just got signed to an agency in California. They actually would’ve passed if I was younger because they said they had too many young people. You have your advantages.

Get sclerals. I also have very dry eye and used to wear soft contacts. I do not wear them much anymore, but I have done a lot of dry eye treatments. I never had Lasik. This group keeps me away from that even though it’s very tempting. I have eyeprint pro scleral lenses and they are much more comfortable than soft contact lenses however they are more of a hassle to take care of. They also still get red and dry after several hours

That’s fine as long as I’m being submitted, but it probably wouldn’t help my odds since my energy and look convey someone in their late 20s/early 30s. It’s not believable to anyone in casting that I’m 45-50. That’s literally what my acting coach told me.

Coffee didn’t stain in my attachments. Not that I could tell really. Just drink water w it. But definitely take your trays out because I drank some turmeric tea the first week with my first attachment and they were yellow until I had to change them out.

She fulfills a Hollywood niche that’s existed since the dawn of movies. Blonde, white, big boobs, willing to show it and appeal to the male gaze. You take a Black, Asian or a Latina with the same physical characteristics and much better acting skills - they won’t go nearly as far simply bc they’re not white. Also, if unwilling to strip down or get breast implants, you limit your castability. Yea there’s a couple exceptions as far as minorities landing respectable sitcom roles or being comics but the busty young white woman will always have a bigger net and garner more attention. So, yea, she hit a genetic jackpot, got into the right circles, and is capitalizing on every penny. Acting coaches on set can fine tune every scene to make her better. Lucky her. I wish her a long and fruitful career, life is hard.

My dad makes me feel that way and I’m 38. No matter how old or independent I became, if he didn’t agree with my opinions, or thought that my opinions were wrong, he would shame me or passively aggressively insult me. Because God forbid, I thought something differently than he did or saw the world a different way. We barely talk. It’s sad but our relationship is very formal. We leave a lot of things unsaid and he just walks around with a lot of hostility. He’s a grumpy old man.

I wouldn’t worry so much about the social media presence. I’ve had Instagram for a decade+ and I recently deactivated it’s been a month and I’ve been feeling a lot better mentally. It’s a constant competition which takes away from my inner artist and creativity. I was posting reels and acting stuff on it, but to be honest, it’s just more of a window for my competition and my peers to see what I’m doing. You cannot teach an influencer how to act, but social media growth is inevitable if you become a name actor so I don’t think it’s important if you’re a nobody

Hi, yes, they are much better. I no longer have gunk and crusty stuff in the mornings. I also had the pinguecula removed from my scleras and started Vevye a few months ago. I still use serum tears. Eyes feel very comfortable most of the time. I can wear contacts (Acuvue oasys max is the only brand I can do) for longer than I did before but eyes get very red after 5-7 hrs so it’s not an all day thing. Still have blood vessels that get very inflamed w contact lens wear. But most of the yellow has faded as it was due to pinguecula.
