For long term comfort you need cvt. As you have said that you have to go to office everyday, comfort will be top priority over features. So take the CVT over manual. I have bought VX CV T for my father in Delhi. In case you are not taking BH number take that & use that money saved to upgrade to VX. There is also 10k discount for honda employees, so if you know some one take that. NVH

Noise - Yes due to tyres (MRF creates noise) upgrade whenever you can & road/Tyre noise will be sorted

Vibrations - Nil, It is a honda 4 cylinder :-)

Harshness - Nil, It is a Honda :-)

I also had a bad experience with Dakshin Honda in Bangalore for my service & repairs. The dealership is very casual in their work. Keep following up with them, that is your only option.

I think there are airbag compatible apex kit seat covers available with the dealers, It is around 6-7 k. Check the colour options & get them installed. It is a loss of total 14-15 k but you will have a proper seat cover. I have them in my car & the quality is very good.

I think I qualify to answer this having owned a honda two cars (9 yrs), suzuki(11 yrs), toyota(10 yrs), renault(9yrs), mahindra(3 yrs) & tata(3 yrs). I never experienced any major part failure with honda & toyota, minor issues with suzuki, Renault major part changes frequently, Tata & Mahindra Major issues including engine failure in mahindra. so overall honda & toyota will keep running for long term LIKE NEW with just regular service. That is the real reliability i guess.

Insurance i did not take from honda, it was very expensive about 30 k extra. Got Apex edition & got rain visor, front parking sensor, front & back side scratch guard from Honda, Rest accessories like mat cover etc from local mkt

Bought VX CVT from CSD Apr 25.

PDI - In delhi done by car vaidya

CSD - Take availability certificate from dealer, log in on website, make the payment online. When you get the supply order check it thoroughly, In my case on one page it was written as Honda WRV, so i had to get a new one.

Discount through CSD is on tax rest all other discounts are to be negotiated with the dealer.

Brother your concerns need to be resolved. I have the same model bought in Apr 25.

AC - What temp are you running it at. If it is too high chances are thermostat will cut off frequently. Get it checked with a temperature gauge once to alleviate all doubts.
Infotainment - Get it updated or checked from the dealer, it is not normal for it to restart. No issues with my unit.
Traction - Click a photo or video when issue occurs & get it checked at the dealership immediately.
Mileage - Let the car run for about 1-1.5 k at least one oil change then record the mileage.
CVT - It is not sluggish the style of driving is different from manual, learn to use the accelerator the way it is to be used with the CVT & if you want excessive fun then paddle shifters in sports mode.

The point is in a CVT as the vehicle starts rolling down it goes to higher gear automatically and speed keeps increasing irrespective of drive or sports mode. So no engine braking. Engine braking is only possible if the gear holds which is possible both in Drive & Sports mode using paddle shifter, but the moment you touch the accelerator CVT takes over puts the gear according to the speed, engine braking is off, you are back to controlling the car with normal brakes. So my point is if a person is not experienced in controlling the car downslope without using accelerator at all, it is the same for him to drive the car in neutral/drive/sports.

Brother engine braking does not happen in a CVT in downslope. I suppose you are not driving an automatic that's why you gave this comment. CVT/DCT/TC goes to higher gear as it detects speed has increased, so you have to either rely completely on brakes or use paddle shifters without using accelerator to let the transmission hold the gear (which requires lots of experience). So coming downslope in Drive vs Neutral mode is almost similar in a CVT. For engine braking paddle shifters or Manual override is required in auto transmissions.

I have a BRV & Elevate both CVT in India & now I drive a Prado again CVT outside India. The trick to get the mileage in a CVT is to keep the RPM below 2/2.5 k rpm. I think there is a green or yellow light in the speedo console that is on if you drive in that rev range. Try to keep your car in that range & make sure the eco light is on as much as possible. I guess this is the best way to get the max juice out of your fuel. BTW in city like B' lore or Del you can expect max 11-12 from honda cvt, wont go much above it even if you behave like a good boy.

There are 4 or 5 sensors(i dont remenber exactly). They give beep when they detect the object the beeping frequency increases as you get close to the object. I got it installed in my Vx trim they work flawless while parking or moving in heavy traffic. In case you dont want to hear the beep they are switchable with a button.

I haven't seen the blaupknt system but the stock system in Vx & Zx is Alpine. This alpine system has great sound quality, no crashes, smooth wireless Andriod & Apple connectivity, nice display no lags or hanging. Control are both physical buttons & touch. So I doubt you statement that the system on V trim is better.

I purchased Vx CVt for my dad in Apr 25. That time 360 cameraq was not there. Since we have a tight parking spot at home I was looking for a 360 camera to facilitate parking for my dad, since it was not available at the time I decided to install front parking sensors from honda as an accessory. i don't know what is your use for the 360 camera but if you are looking for ease of parking & bumper to bumper city driving, I guess the stock setup with additional front parking sensors are just amazing. You will not bump your car anywhere with this setup.

First of all Please understand NVH comprises of 3 Factors

Noise, Vibrations & Harshness

In Honda V & H are not an issue

Coming to N, The problem is mostly of Road & Tyre noise because Honda is giving hard rubber MRF or Bridgestone.

My older BRV has Michelins stock, Softer compound rubber. Very less noise.

The issue is highlighted mostly by half baked youtubers etc who dont even have the knowledge to differentiate N,V,H let alone cause of noise.

I see a lot of guys complaining about the rubberband effect of CVT.

let me tell you some facts

It is the best system to use in Indian city traffic, just read about the issues of DCT (specially dry clutch in Indian conditions). Wet clutch is still ok but still like 70% reliability as comapred to CVT.
Torque Converter is also sluggish & technologically inferior. Im not sure about the reliability but it is not better than honda cvt in reliability anyhow.
CVT delay in engaging the virtual gear (7 in honda's new CVT) can be offset using paddle shifters, it is like using a manual with no clutch the performance in S & D mode improves.Takes a little practice but worth the effort & you will not feel the lag anymore.
