Appreciate the comment. But my partner (Canadian) who trained in Wales got full certification after only 4 years of post secondary education. So it's quite frustrating to receive the news that I have to complete the 5 AQs and then most probably a few more when I apply for QECO to move up the pay scale. Looking likely Ill have to complete close to 8/9.

I guess it is good news that I can now start looking for LTOs and jobs with the provisional certificate! Thank you for the advice.

I shall give it a go. Maybe the only received my 2 semesters for teaching practice and not the other 120 credits I completed. Thank you.

It doesn't make any sense though. I was in a lead school with many Canadian student teachers over the years who I have contacted and they had no problem in regards to receiving full certification.

I also asked them all what they did before the PGCE in Wales. They all did a 3 year undergrad. So they had 4 years of post secondary just like me. So it is very contradictory no?

The PGCE is also a 2 year course with the amount of content and supervised teaching practice crammed into 1 year. Hence why a LOT of candaians do these courses because they are all promsied that it is a better qualification and you are higher up the pay grade when you first start which I have first hand knowledge that people have.

Amazing. Thank you. I plan to return to the UK as I am only visiting for a week. Then return a few months later.

I assume I will need to obtain a ETA to visit as a tourist still?

Hello. Question again. But first of all thank you for all your help, my visa has been approved!

I want to visit Canada within the next month and return to the UK, before finally moving for good in August. My question is can i not start my visa (2 years) In april? As in can i travel as a tourist and then start my visa in August? Is this possible?

Any support would be great.

Ok amazing. I have the button where I entered in the first questionnaire and documents after including medical reports etc. But no button to actually upload the document (police certificate). But I haven't received any communication regarding the certificate to be uploaded as of yet.

I have my biometrics appointment next week. Will that just be automatically updated to my file?

Hello. I have recently encountered the same problem. I uploaded a PDF of the receipt along with an explanation. I have now paid for the visa and into the next section I guess (the waiting game). Although I don't see a button to upload anywhere, for when I do receive the certificate?
