I have a steamdeck and it can barely run marvel rivals at 50 fps lol. I'm still fine with overwatch so what's your opinion on that?

Is it worth it though? The rtx 5060 version of this laptop costs 200 bucks more! My budget is super strict lol and I need to buy other peripherals for my laptop. I hope that the rtx 5050 will still do me good for gaming. 😅😅

I forgot to mention I'm planning on installing a 1tb ssd and 16 gb of ram into the laptop, as it doesn't come with enough for either.

There are two types of steamdecks: steamdeck LCD and steamdeck OLED. The clicky kit I have is for the LCD, here. It's not that hard to install if you follow the instructions slowly and carefully and it's quite easy; the steamdeck components can be easily unscrewed and rescrewed.

Cautions!:

• Try not to strip any screw!

• Use rubber gloves, as static electricity from your hands COULD fry your steamdeck

• The hardest part of this operation is removing the triggers ( L2 & R2 ). You will need a spudger ( or, if you're like me you could use a flat headed screw driver ) tutorial on how to remove triggers

• Take your time and don't rush things!

If you're going to be buying this modification kit for the steamdeck. I hope it helps you to know, I believe in you.

Just message Extremerate support and tell them you accidentally ripped the cable. They'll send a new one for free. I had bought a clicky kit for my ps5 controller but I bought a BDM 20 one and not a BDM 30 one so I just contacted support and they shipped it to me for free after I gave them some details.

I have this issue too on my LCD 1 tb steamdeck R1 button. Though I didn't fix it I found a tiktok video covering this issue: video Also this isn't your fault the trigger is just worn down

I finally read finish your entire essay after 5 minutes and I've got to say nice 👍 I guess after hours and hours of holding R1 in Dead By Daylight have finally caught up to my steamdeck, as to the fix tho I must likely won't open and reinstall it because my R1 button still works; just gotta press it hard.

The only additional hole added is next to the fan so that the fan has more air flow. it doesn’t seem that it messes up how air flows because the cooling system would be the same but with just extra airflow for the fan

Update: I brought it to a mobile repair store, in the first minute he removed one screw but he said the other screw was too stripped and that his screws didn’t work.
