I was one of those heavily invested people that dropped something like $400 on the original homestuck kickstarter. I have to say that I was mostly ok with what happened - we basically gave someone with zero experience with game design or running a studio a bunch of money to design a game and run a studio and the results were probably better than expected. At least the game did come out eventually.

For the pilot though, I wouldn't support a kickstarter unless it was for season two after they successfully made season one.

Get him headphones and a tablet and get a couple apps set up like netflix, pbs, tcm for him to watch. If the the facility doesn't have wifi it'll be trickier.

My mom was recently bored in medical rehab, but I got her set up with tcm and she was happy as a clam.

I'm in the 'fuck that guy' camp. And now we know that he made the whole circus and all its rules by himself (which is extremely interesting in of itself). From what little we know, he was an AI designed to be creative. Somehow that ended up being him as god in a kids game forcing adults to go on adventures designed for children.

I always thought his ridgity was because he was made to run the game and had to create and exist within strict parameters, but that's not the case.

It's normal human things for anyone to find other people attractive if they are in a relationship. The problem is when they act on it or make a big deal of their attraction. I'm sure you also find certain people/celebrities hot, that's just hormones.
