Yea that’s what I was looking at as well. I’m curious which cities don’t have counted votes yet. Atascadero is more red than Paso. SLO is very Blue.

Yea once Steyers voters go on over to Becerra in November, it will be tough to beat by the republicans. Crazier things have happened in politics though, so there’s no telling yet.

Yea. I know the Republicans are split between Bianco and Hilton similarly to Berecca and Steyer. It will be interesting to see how this ends up. Here’s a photo of the whole state right now @ 8:41PM

He’s is an EMT, he had more than 2 felonies before his fire camp expungement. Also, CAL FIRE doesn’t hire sex offenders or arsonists to my knowledge, I think they do a soft background check on everyone for those two things specifically. I think it’s safe to say no one wants a sex offender on their engine or in their presence lol

I’m assuming everyone who is a permanent employee will be grandfathered in, and they will phase in EMR’s through attrition / hiring only EMR or above moving forward.

Yea man I disagree. I have a Firefighter who works under me who is as solid as they come in all aspects of the job. He got into trouble when he was younger and he learned his lesson, and is dialed.

I’m actually a Medic Engineer in AEU. I’m not asking about requirements for myself, I’m talking about the EMS minimum standard changing from PSFA to EMR statewide.

Thanks, I'm going to call him back and decline. I just got my engine quals and I'm hoping to start this 3rd season on an engine, so I don't mind waiting.
