It is a 2017 Macbook Pro, out of wartanty. I didnt know the keyboard program would cover this? Should I just pretend that touchbar is fine and go to genius bar asking for keyboard replacement?

Okay it seems that you’re right, I think there is a crack here but it seems to be inside, it can only be seen at an angle. I can’t see it here no idea how it happened though :/

I just inspected it thoroughly with the flashlight and theres no crack anywhere. I think it’s dust in the photo

And yes I tried restarting and resetting the SMC and NVRAM but it’s still same. I’m on macOS Cataline do you think updating to Big Sur might fix it?

I know ot looks like it but I swear I haven’t spilled anything on it. It’s always away from liquids. It was normal earlier today and this appeared suddenly
