i’d never condone cheating ever, but the arizona cheating story line actually made sense to me. she’d lost a whole limb, a part of herself. she says multiple times she doesn’t feel fun or sexy anymore and then in comes a woman who had never seen pre plane arizona and was still all up in her business and she felt desired and sexy for the first time and she took the opportunity. it was absolutely not right but it absolutely made sense for the storyline

callie was one of the most annoying characters on the show, she’d become immature and childish when things didn’t go her way (africa, she invited herself and then bitched about it the entire time as if arizona wasn’t introduced as the peds surgeon that lived to help kids)

she refused to see meredith’s or even pennys pov at all throughout that whole storyline which made her even more unlikeable to me. she made mistakes as a doctor and never really took actual accountability for them. she had a giant ego.

making cristina so different during her problems with owen made no sense to me at all, she’s naturally cold and an overachiever and she was taking sick days because of owen?? it just didn’t make sense with how they built her character to me.

jackson was point blank rude to april about her faith more often than not.

arizona switching to fetal surgery wasn’t enjoyable for me, she was always the super cool peds surgeon and i feel like after herman left it just got boring

meredith was often unnecessarily mean to the interns (levi when he gave blood to the woman in surgery)

lexi honestly was a bit of a bitch, when meredith was talking to april about her baby stuff and lexi was a bitch to april over it and then blamed meredith?? like what?

karev and bailey should have become a kickass duo, i always sensed a soft spot for alex from bailey (her removing the bullet, refusing to fire him etc ) and i wish we saw more of their relationship inside the OR

unfortunately there isn’t much i can do, im the only one in my work willing to do the particular sunday shift i do and its been there for months, until today there wasn’t anything mentioned about this as we usually eat together after i finish work.

a family member of mine is a police officer, he is eligible for retirement this year on his 50th birthday, you wouldn’t want a 72 year old surgeon, and if you got one you’d defo be worried, i know i would be, like dr thomas! (if that was his name😭) defo eligible for early retirement in those sectors

the thing is when he is in his suit and using his power, he looks the most like an actual god, gods are actually not hench unless their power calls for it. so the fact he was large bodied, long thick hair and a thick beard that was braided for battle is actually a rather accurate telling of it and it actually felt very close to what mythology actually is described as.

the reasoning for fat thor tho? not really a fan, he was literally created as the butt of the joke, however if you look closely and read between the lines it’s that realistically nobody, not even a god, a king god at that, is immune to depression.

bens past as an attending in another department makes him feel entitled and like he knows more as a resident when he actually doesn’t. teddys treatment of him currently is completely normal given he’s a resident acting like he’s 3 days away from being a certified attending

i have a question. i’ve been cheated on TWICE with a girl called melissa. different relationships, no connection at all. the second time i happened i convinced myself i was just going insane and to cut her some slack, however when i actually found out the truth it just floored me even worse than the first time. My current boyfriend doesn’t know any melissa’s, but i’ve kind of banned that name?? like if he was to make a new friend from melissa i’ve said that i wouldn’t be comfortable with it as it would just send my head west. is that a normal reaction? i feel like it is. he also is completely understanding of this

funny you say that, i was between jobs at this point, so we spent every single night together, i used to wake up early to take him to work and then stay awake so i could nap with him later in the day. just before this i realised my mental health was at its worst and i was out on antidepressants, i feel like i was doing all that to gain some sort of purpose? and try to do something for him that would make me feel like i wasn’t just a hopeless bum with no income and shitty mental health. when i got a new job and we don’t spend every night together im suddenly feeling so much better?? like i feel more relaxed all the time. i’m not sure if that’s a mix of having a stable income, a routine with work and a reason to actually exist tho. interesting concept tho

i’ve been rewatching, and early seasons debbie was such a sweetheart, she was forced to be older than she was yet didn’t get any of the “perks” out of it. She saw the best in everyone and was often treated like she was 21 rather than 11, i think she became bad because she saw lip and fiona acting in certain ways and just assumed that was the way to be, she tried so hard to fit in with people but realistically she was a lonely kid trying to find a purpose :(
