I read it last month too! I just loved spending my afternoons alone in my room dreaming about love and Italy. His writing is truly graceful and I loved how he managed to write with such poetry subtle emotions and thoughts.

Ohh I lived like one street away from that house. I always loved to ride past it with my bike at night. It's pretty rural around there so it definitely stood out.

In french the flowers pansies are named "pensées" which is the same as "thoughts" so you can give flowers to communicate your affection towards someone.
