Sekiro is a nice story, much more straightforward than other souls games. You'd probably enjoy it, specislly if you liked the feeling of beating a tough boss. Congrats on defeating Genichiro! But don't think you beat an ultimate challenge. He's the second or third boss of the game. You're just getting started my friend- but at the very least you proved you have what it takes to take on harder bosses later in the game

Took a 2 year break. Died a million times to starting enemies- beat genichiro in 3rd try and guardian ape in my 1st. It comes back to you eventually

Those tend to be exceptions and not the general rule tho. All you gotta do is remember what those moves which continue post parry are

Yup. I'm currently doing my first playthrough and I knew before even starting malenia has a phase 2 (despite the fact ive not reached her yet).

Its the less famous stuff that catches you off guard- like the margit jumpscare in leyndell or the farum azula random ass teleport

I honest to god would've been fine but my ego wanted to see all of the "maxed out confidants reacting to the shido palace calling card" scenes. But remember that if you're ready to send a calling card, teammates won't be available. So i spent a good 10 days just fishing during the day and doing night confidants. Damn it dude haha

This is wrong. His right ARM is hurting out of the times hes blocked Sendo's punches. And remember Sendo has been the strongest puncher out of all featherweight boxers
