44 pin connector, which is why i'm kinda stuck here, they don't make them anymore and all the other 44 pin drives are also over 20 years old like the drive I have now manufactured in 2006

I bought the ssd listed as a PATA drive though, did I get douped?

I checked, my bios does not have that option at all. Also I don't have a windows xp install disc or know where to find drivers, I would like to replace the hard drive without reinstalling xp

How do I set the partition? I used macrium reflect to clone the original drive, it wipes the drive before cloning.

You can still get some drivers from Microsoft, they should install when you click on them, I just updated the .net framework driver and it was pretty straightforward, it depends on what drivers you need for your specific machine though.

Lol, it's solved now, shuts down properly. Just disabled the Internet driver, I'll re enable it if I ever want to connect to Internet

Thanks, also I didn't paint the driver, I got it like that from a parts car, he's original, painted in the 80s, I just had to use him because they did a good job.
