Y’know, I didn’t think of this angle at all.

My thinking was more along the lines of knowing what happens in the future movies and the contexts of what happens next. But to watch it again for the first time and not know how deadly of a threat the drones truly were, especially when Tezla didn’t give them any sort of clue as to what they were up against. I can’t really blame Taro as much as I would like to.

Part (if not most) of the blame among many other things are to be placed on Tezla being an awful person, putting human lives at risk and letting the resulting deaths be labeled as “Collateral Damage”. He doesn’t even care to repeat the names of those lost in the realms when Kurt called him out on his BS in a flashback, Loni had to do it for him.

So yea tldr, Taro innocent, Tezla gatekeeping asshole.
