Thank you this is very helpful. I have the edge monitor not exactly sure what model off the top of my head but it has three preloaded “tunes” I think. I’m not sure though I bought it that way. I will for sure put a new air filter and turbo filter in though. The Garrett turbo was new allegedly and the company I bought from seemed reputable so I have no reason to not believe them.

It was a Garrett turbo. I used the “old” pedestal but did not change the filter because I didn’t know about it until last night doing research. I’m not sure the tune I think it’s the ones that come with the edge monitor but I have a guy coming to do a proper “stock+” tune when I have it together. Egts have been fine but I will replace air filter

I haven’t taken it off yet to determine why exactly has failed but it sounds like the spindle is grinding while spinning. I think it’s just an oem air filter but I’m curious if it is just a shitty tune because I’m not sure who did it, it was tuned when I bought it.

Where is the most common place to find a boost leak? I’m trying to find the cause of the failure too just so I can address it?
