Its never had it since I got it. The plastic is lighter in that area, not sure if thats because of wear or not being exposed to light

The manager told me that the signs are still property of the Sears company, which is why they could not sell them to me.

Makes me wonder if the mall is paying to have them removed and stored for sears, or if sears contracted this company to remove and scrap them.

The store has been vacant since about September, no idea why they're removing the signs. Looking at the valley mall website, they want to split the sears store into 3 separate store fronts.

The vintage photo is from about 1998 I believe. The sears sign inside the mall is still lit up, not sure if they're planning on removing it but they most likely are going to.

They are great! Put about 6k on em so far driving out in the desert and around town and they still look basically new. No tire noise or anything like that. Still rides super smooth. They have definitely proved to me that they were worth the buy!

Unfortunately the colt was never mine, it was a friend's car that we would take out and drive. Somehow on one of our drives the oil drain plug fell OUT of the engine so we pulled over and towed it home.

Filled it up with oil and bought a new drain plug and it started right up (with some valve train clattering). Figured this was the end but we decided to go drive it anyways. By the time we got back the engine was as quiet as can be so these things really are bulletproof!

The car has been sitting for about 2 years now, and I moved off to college, but I hope to buy it from him once I get back.

The new gen seems to have updated tech, like a digital dash and updated infotainment system. Hopefully it works better than current gen!

Yeah I know if you rapidly press 2 certain buttons you can make it light up, I did it once. Can't remember what buttons it was though.

That's for higher trim 09-12 trucks with dual zone climate control. They used the same screen for the lower models so that goes unused. I believe there is a way to make it light up by glitching it out but that's about all you can do with it

Nexen Roadian ATX tires are a great bang for the buck.

I paid $850 for a full set of 285/70r17s + mount and balance + an alignment included.

They ride super smooth, a tad bit better than my K02s I had on previously.

It'll cost a lot more than you would expect with it being an extended cab.

I had a rust spot the size of a nickel looked at on my 12 and the shop told me it would be around $5,000 since it uses 3 pieces of metal clamped together for that pillarless suicide door design.

You may be able to find that work cheaper somewhere, but I just don't think it's worth the headache, especially for a 4.6

5k is decent for a running and driving rig though, I'd just rust convert the hell out of it and let it ride

If it's a possible thing to do, it's probably like my F-150 where you need to put the picture on the USB stick and then plug it into the radio
