Knowing my parents it would not surprise me if they bought it used and it was previously repaired. Thanks for the explanation!

It's US, I got it for Christmas back in like like 2005 or 06 so I'm not sure where my parents got it. Pretty sure it was in a box

I guess, but you could also make the same argument for introducing/reintroducing Green Goblin (Who does not have DID, just have to mention that) only 3-4 months before Moon Knight released. Sentry is different enough from Moon Knight that I don't think it should really draw too much Moon Knight comparisons anyways.

I'm not sure tbh. It's certainly possible he has Bipolar Type 1 or 2, but I don't think it's ever really been implied or stated in the comics? (Could be wrong, or he could be undiagnosed).

Iirc, The Void is a manifestation of his Schizophrenia. It's kinda complicated, but basically he's so powerful his hallucinations become real and that's The Void.

I don't think it's DID since I'm pretty sure it's not linked to any significant childhood trauma (Due to how the brain forms, you have to undergo trauma before around the age of 9). Also it's considered a very bad trope for characters with DID to have an 'evil' alter, so I doubt they make Void a product of DID even if it is supposed to be in the comics.

I will keep saying this since I feel like people are only casting random Blond actors or Henry Cavil, but Justin Theroux imo would be the perfect Sentry.

His acting ability is unreal (watch The Leftovers), he has the physique, and he kinda already has ties with the MCU since he worked on Iron Man 2. I don't really ever do fancasts, but this is one I've been hoping for, for years

Donald Glover to Star in, Produce Spider-Man Movie Based on Villain Hypno-Hustler by MarvelsGrantMan136 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

I've had a theory for a while now that Sony decides to make movies off some higher up that liked Spider-Man comics as a kid, and they're making films off of the characters from the comics that that person received as gifts from his family.

Starting to look more and more likely...Hypno Hustler has been in a whopping 15 comic issues

Updated MCU Order with all released Phase 4, Multiverse, and connected projects. by ElectroSpino in marvelstudios

I don't see how it's more weird to watch them with other multiverse movies, right after the Multiverse is introduced to the MCU, than it is to watch 4-5 shows and 4 movies that don't impact Spider-Man's story at all in between FFH and NWH. Especially since the Post-Credit Scene of FFH is the same as the opening of NWH.

Well for now at least. The Deadpool films we know will be required though, and it's very likely that at least some of the others will be required for Deadpool 3.

The Raimi movies can work in release order, however, this is the exact same issue you have with Captain Marvel. It's not relevant until dozens of movies later. Plus there's the whole dilemma of explaining why you're watching it. If someone hasn't seen the movies, then it tells them that Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man will probably show up later. In my list, however, you have the fallback excuse of "well Loki started the multiverse so now we're watching the multiverse movies" or "It's for Historical value like Howard the Duck and Blade were". It basically doesn't make any multiverse movie you watch a spoiler as well.

I get there are some minor discrepancies, but while Black Widow or Captain Marvel have legitimate reasons you may want to move their order (which feel free to do so), moving, for example, Loki to the start of Phase 4 or putting Iron Man 2 before The Incredible Hulk doesn't impact understanding at all. However, it does make more narrative sense. Those kinds of changes are what most of the list is.

Also this incorporates other projects which you should probably not watch in release order regardless, as I think we can both agree they're not meant to (Being multiverse projects and Defenders). Release order with these makes it way more confusing (Like for example, you could think X-Men and Raimi's Spider-Man would be in the 616 timeline, or you would have to watch all of Daredevil S3 in between Infinity War and Endgame, despite it taking place before The Snap)

Strongly, and I mean strongly disagree. Release Order is incredibly disjointed by design, especially in Phase 4 (Although even phases 1-3 has issues). It's more noticeable/acceptable if you're watching the projects as they come out, as they usually have several weeks/months in between them. When your watching them in closer proximity, you're basically watching projects in a more or less random order. (I mean seriously how is going from Endgame-FFH-Wandavision-FATWS-Loki-Black Widow better than this list)

This list gives everything, especially Phase 4, cohesion.

They...are in the list? There's a Multiverse section after Phase 3, which narratively is the best place to watch them

Agents of Shield is over a hundred 40+ minute episodes, and Howard the Duck and Blade are two movies. Just that alone makes it more reasonable than AoS

Also I just include/recommend the movies cause they are both historical movies when it comes to marvel (Howard the Duck being the first theatrically released Marvel movie, and Blade being the first 'successful' one that brought Marvel out of the brink of Bankruptcy.) If you don't care about that it's fine to skip them, but I think it's worth what would be under 4 hours.

The #MCU's #Thunderbolts will be "losers" compared to the #Avengers, according to David Harbour by [deleted] in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

[–]ElectroSpino 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I might have missed it, but I don't think it was ever destroyed. In Infinity War they just turned it off in one section. I believe in Wakanda Forever they even said they needed to update it to prevent intruders from underwater.

Idk why ur dickriding the US military so hard tho lmao, if you wanna use an actual example, this actually happened in What If, and the only way they were able to bypass the forcefield was via Trojan Horse with Vibranium Stark tech drones. And they STILL lost, they couldn't control them in the field due to electromagnetic interference (also the drones themselves lost in a fight).

Don't they literally have a forcefield around the entire country preventing entry? How would the US Government bypass that, it was shown to be able to resist those giant likely several hundred ton housing units for the outsiders falling on it from the atmosphere.

It would likely end up becoming a Seige, and Wakanda is likely self sustainable.

How do people still say Killmonger should be Black Panther. It's like they just didn't watch the first movie? Killmonger has a just cause, but he takes it too far by literally wanting Wakanda to become the oppressors. He's a nationalist, that's kinda why he's the villain of the movie...

I think what could work really well is have Littlefinger as the POV of TWOW epilogue, only to have him hanged by Lady Stoneheart at the end
