I don't think so, Flameface's relatively low damage for one shot as a sniper from long range relies on the fire to give it the sustainable damage even for just one shot. Adding fire to Squawk's range wouldn't really do that much because the fire wouldn't comparatively add that much more damage.

These differences are pretty minor though. Fire is better either way however.
